@ryan montgomery - Audio Engineer here. It sounds like whatever your using for your audio capture for your mic has some sort of "Gate" set on it. which is causing the mic to cut off part of your audio when you pause before and after speaking. The gate is used to cut off audio to help cut down on audio you're not wanting to capture (Like background noise, ambient room noises, ect). If you have any audio settings on your mic, try adjusting your threshold setting. it should be a negative number. If its set to -20 try -30.

Ugh right when I get to attempting to view the ps1 script my attack box will not load that. I ended up running out of time and have to wait until tomorrow to retry. No internet issues and the converter loaded up fine. I know I’m late but I really want to try and do this challenge.

They let this guy do the Day 1 onboarding because they know he doesn't actually know how to do any real hacking but he can read, and he could learn a thing or two from having gone through this beginner content as well as any actual beginner could, so they figured two birds with one stone. Pure phony. Can't wait to see the rest of the calendar for actually knowledgeable hackers can show us a thing or two!

hacking windows is a worthless endeavor. Windows uses its own language and design,, it isnt posix compliant and made to be broken and suck. A file ending in .mp3 which is linking to a excecutable would need executable permissions thereby sending a huge red flag to any posix user. even their azure service uses its own language. It isnt hacking, it is learning to admin windows.

Hello THM friends! I am a complete beginner in the Cyber Security learning path. I am having a connection issue in TryHackMe. I got 'Initialization Sequence Completed' in OpenVPN, but it still shows 'Not Connected' in TryHackMe. I am using the latest version of OpenVPN 2.6.12. What can I do?
