There are many things I like about this channel even though I found it only yesterday. Dad, Mum, and 2 daughters doing some technical stuff together (drag racing while looking after the car). They drive the car to the drag strip while doing these times on the track! I relate myself to this family as I am a father of a 10 year old daughter, wished I could be spending quality time with her like you do . . .

I’ve always wonders if it would be a complete nuisance to run a en electric/manual cutout to some resonators and mufflers down under (if there’s room.) remove in the pits before running. I know that would addd extra steps to your track day list. But, it’ll help with having your hear drone and exhaust the X amount of miles driving. Dennis gets a break from wearing headphones on his ears! Probably more in depth than I think it would be. I had QTP cutouts on my c5, but I don’t make 2500+hp and do drag and drives lol.

lettting the 11 sec or slower cars run earlier, is a smart thing, to help dry the track. I remember the video of the 55 behind the shop in the mud & the dent from the fallen Tree on it. Now it's a Rocketship that goes 6sec @ over 200, I'm glad to see this week hasn't been as eventful as past events. Seemed Funnier this year! How come Dad doesn't drive the Car between the Track's?

I took my Buell up to Martin Dragway Sept 2022,, First time I had been there since maybe 1981. It was for the All Harley Drags. I arrived Friday evening rather late. I had no Clue where to go for Inspection ect as I had not been there for 40 years. I passed inspection even though my front tire was very old and bald. I had just bought the bike a few weeks Previous. I made several passes but it was getting Foggy they were talking of shutting down for the night. I it was getting close to 10 PM.. I go through the lights in 4th gear at 107 mph .. but there is so much stopping area I usually grab 5th gear and got a bit faster. When I went to put on my brakes, I hit a 2" rise or more between the edge of the concrete they poured into a sink hole and the asphalt. My bald front wheel hit on the edge of the concrete pad the front wheel locked up and my bike started to go down. I had to let off the front brake quickly to save it. I saved it , but it's very dangerous for Motorcycles.. No issues if you are on 4 wheels. Once I knew that gap and two inch square edge was there, it was easy to stay to the left or it or hit the concrete pad in the middle. At the Riders meeting the next morning I warned other bikers about it. My Gosh Bracket racing is frustrating.. I won a couple of rounds by 0.002 and I lost a found by that margin too. I am tempted to build a drag bike with an 800 CC two stroke from a snowmobile with VRT belt drive Transmission. Stoke the 800's are at least 150 HP .. Then put the engine back in my sled in the witner.
