I can't get your site to load in Firefox or Edge. I thought it was down after uploading this video and I've been checking back here for comments from others or announcements that you are aware and working on it. Apparently it must be something on my end. Very strange. It does load on my phone over the wifi. I don't expect you to troubleshoot, just posting here in case someone else might have a problem.

@@nickf3242 hi Nick! Thanks so much for reaching out. We haven’t heard anything about this, but here are a couple of things to check. First, are you able to load our website on other devices that are on the same Wi-Fi network? Also, are you able to load other websites in Firefox or Edge on the computer that you’ve been trying our website on?

@@RVgeeks Yes, Shows up fine on my phone on the same network with mobile Firefox. Yes, I've been surfing the web all yesterday and today on Firefox (my default by personal preference). I've tried your giveaway link and typing directly your main site. Only simple thing I haven't done yet is reboot the PC otherwise all my normal activities, apps, and programs seem to be running like normal. I just tried on a netbook/2in1. I thought it was going to fail to load again but it finally showed up. Thanks for your interest and fast reply. I wasn't too worried about it, just found it a bit odd. I also don't have control over the home network for extended troubleshooting.

Do you have any videos for replacing the fabric on a powered awning? Everything I could find was about manually operated or slide topper replacement. Does that mean it’s too difficult to do, or that it’s essentially the same process and doesn’t need it’s own video? Thanks!

Hi Burt! If you have a Dometic/A&E awning, this might be what you’re looking for: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYG2nJKsisdkgbM but if you have a Carefree of Colorado awning, this might help:: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJiYh3-DmKyXors

Peter and John, We've been watching your videos for some years and we've always wondered why you RV in a Class A diesel pusher. It seems to us that you mostly go to a camping location and spend a longer amount of time at that location. Wouldn't a 5th wheel trailer be more cost effective in that role? We've owned a Class A diesel pusher but we are more of the travelers with short stops along the way. The longest we have ever stayed at one location was 6 days and that was only twice, our majority of stays were overnight or two days. We're not full-timers but when we go out on a trip we spend several months on the road. A motorhome or van fits our style of "camping" but it seems that you are not using your Class A to the maximum effect, could you elaborate in one of your videos, or on the RVer's as to why you two love the extra expense of a Class A and specifically the diesel pusher? Thank you for all that you do to make RV travel enjoyable and safe for us amateurs. Jim and Terri

Hi Terri. There's no right or wrong way to use any particular type of RV. A diesel pusher can be used for extensive, continuous travel, parked for extended periods, or a combination of both. The same goes for a towable, or any other type of RV of any class. There's no right or wrong way to do it, and no rules. In our case, we bought a rig we felt we'd be comfortable in, traveled extensively and often, and then slowed down a bit after many years. We still love it, and still have the same rig after about 16 years, and still mix up our travels between longer and shorter stays. But there's no reason to switch rigs if travel style changes, unless you want a new one of course.

Enjoyed your video. I will be ordering a new awning from T.T. I have a Carefree unit, and I see on T.T. web page they have a statement *If awning only has 1 point of contact on roller tube please CALL TO ORDER *. What is that? Your Carefree video doesn't cover that.
@RVgeeks
@RVgeeks 3 жыл бұрын
Great question, Al! Those are generally the cheaper fabric replacements with a single bead at the roller. Original material, and all good quality replacements, will have two bead cords holding the fabric in place on the roller (one where the awning meets the roller, and one where the decorative valence is). Those use two of the three tracks in the roller, where a single point of contact awning would only connect to one of the tracks. Hope this makes sense.

Hello. are you not posting videos on KZbin anymore? It seemed when I started following you, I would be able to see a video every week or two, but now your videos are infrequent or promotions, thanks ~ Steve

Hi Steve! We design websites for a living... for RV Parks! Apparently the huge boom in RVing caused by Covid has extended to the number of parks that realized they need good websites! We have been so overwhelmed with business since this past spring that it’s been extremely difficult to make time to produce KZbin videos. We do get them out when we can, including when there’s some special promotion like a giveaway or discount available to us that we want to share. But we’re trying to get all this work under control so that we can resume putting out videos on a more regular basis. We promise we’re not going away, and appreciate your understanding during this period when we are unable to publish as much.
