Instapot. It is actually a pressure cooker (redesigned) But can also be used as a crockpot.

Used as a slow cooker the crockpot will probably win. Instant pot is a pressure cooked predominantly and pressure cooking will be much quicker

The featherweight Singer sewing machine was one of the models of sewing machines that were sold door to door. Mr. Singer had two wives in his lifetime and had a different sewing machine for each of his two wives. One lived in England and the other one lived in America. HEY GEORGE!!!! Instant Pot ROCKS....I have one and used it yesterday to make tortilla soup....4 minutes of cooking and dinner was ready....also...if you get a good (which you will) a air fryer...they are the dynamic duo...I haven't used my oven or cooktop in 3 years (except for omlets)...you can hardboil eggs in the instant pot...make lasagna in the instant pot...less time and less energy.....OH and I LOVE you guys....I want to adopt you LOL

Try the instant pot! But keep your Crock Pot. I put a seasoned pork tenderloin in instant pot. 20 minutes of pressure. Then release the pressure. So quick and easy.

I use both crock pot and instapot. crock pot is for when you want low n slow(roasts or just set it and leave cooking). Instapot is fast, i make spaghetti in about 20 minutes total, cooking the meat to getting the pot to temp and its cooking time. rice cooks in like 4 minutes, frozen chicken breasts in 8-10 minutes.

Insta Pot. Has a slow cooker/crockpot function as well as the "instant" pressure cooker pot. Will cook rice as well. Most will let you saute and/or sear meat as well.

Instapot, all day, every day! LOL Frozen to done chicken, ribs, etc., in 35 minutes, baked potatoes, cakes, boiled eggs, entire meals! I put potatoes squash and onions in a pan on the bottom, put a rack in with seasoned steak next, add another rack, put a pan on top with broccoli, cauliflower, etc, on top... entire meal (without being combined into casserole or soup) in 25 minutes! Love mine so much, I have 2 of them, and a Ninja Foodi (does the same, just bigger). LOL

I use my instant pot a lot more than my crock pot. You can set a certain cooking time and it will shut down the cooking process and then go to keep warm stage. I use my crock pot when I want something to cook for hours (making sauces, cooking down lard, cooking down bone broth, etc.)

Both crock pots, and instant pots have their own purpose. Crockpot gives me that slow cooked flavor. Instant pots are for when you forgot to thaw your protein, and are in a hurry. I love, and is both intermittently.

Featherweights in Florida go for $200-300. The one you have was made after 1945. Look for the serial #. You will need to take the bottom plate off. You can find the manufactured date using this number.
