how much frame is left once the thing's done? is there enough to recreate the original strike's shoulders?

So when you put the beam sabers in the hand, does yours stick perfectly still where you attached it or does it kinda sway downward after you let it go? Mines moves down because of gravity. I was wondering if thats normal and the sabers are supposed to stay still.

It is a nice piece!! Good thing Bandai gives extra adapters for other kits and the backpack is great for people who wants to customize their gunplas. I'm imagining it attaching the IWSP backpack instead of the new strike pack.

Hey Prime92, does the Build Strike come with the parts I'd need to make it the original Strike ver RM? If it does then I'd get it. Honestly the most important parts to me are the shoulders, I actually like the new head and side skirts, the new forearms and knees I could go either way on.

It does not. Bandai's pretty careful these days about designing their kits such that variants, like this one, won't include a lot of extra parts.

That's disappointing, because I do like the build booster, the new rifle, and the new shield. Plus that adapter would be very useful. But since I can't justify buying both the original flavor and this new version (since there are quite a few other MG's I would like to get) I suppose I'll stick with Kira "Jesus" Yamato's version. Maybe I'll find a way to get my hands on the Sword/Launcher for a reduced price and make it Perfect Strike. Or maybe since the Ootori pack is awesome, I'll get the Rouge and do a full repaint. That was my original plan actually, but once I realized that the "white" is actually a very light pink I figured it'd be more trouble than it was worth.

KaiRellim509 If u have the original MG aile strike or sword launcher strike, you might be able to use that shoulder. i personaaly prefer the original mg strike shoulder design over the rm "fith side of a dice" shoulder.

KaiRellim509 If you want Build Booster but not the rest of Build Strike, my recommendation would be to look for someone who's planning to build Star Build Strike - since the Universe Booster is presently only available as an add-on, anybody looking to build MG Star Build Strike is gonna have a MG Build Booster lying around when they're done. (Of course some people would keep all the parts and swap 'em back and forth... So it's not a sure thing... Gotta find the right potential seller.)

That second connector would probably be more useful with the Sword pack, if it fits in there. Does that adapter mean that you could attach any Master Grade striker pack to the Gundam X, or is the attachment different?

All 1/100 scale Striker Pack connections are the same. So yeah you can attach, say, the Noir Striker. I'd be careful with certain packs like the IWSP that have a lot coming over the shoulders though. There shouldn't be a problem but seeing as the head sculpt and shoulder sculpt are different they might bump into all the kibble. I can't say for sure since I don't own the X yet, and in any case the only striker pack I have is the Noir. I planned on getting the Strike ver RM, but perhaps I'll get the Build Strike instead, especially if it has the parts needed to convert the body to the original Strike.

KaiRellim509 Well, all *Master Grade* 1:100 scale Striker Pack connections are the same. The original 1:100 Strike Gundam (non-grade) had a different connection. The 1:100 Akatsuki, however, uses the MG-style connector.

Scope-Eye video Ah, thank you. Since I never had an interest in the No Grade I never actually watched a review of it. I based my assumption on the 1/100 Akatsuki, which as you mentioned, does have the MG connector. I did briefly consider getting the No Grade for customization purposes, but since I now know it's incompatible that idea is out of the window.

Yeah. The 1/100 No-Grades are kinda fun in a simpler way, but using the same packs would require some modding and you'd be better off avoiding the hassle if possible, maybe.

KaiRellim509 Yeah, it's possible to customize the non-grade Strikers to fit on a MG, but they didn't just change the peg - the shape of the chest block and shoulder armor changed as well, so it's a little bit of a project to do that. Not much need these days since all three original Striker packs are now available as MGs.

How Convert to MG 1/100 Aile Strike Gundam with Build Booster?

By just taking the Aile pack off and plugging in the Build Booster. All MG Strike molds have the same exact backpack connector, ever since the original MG AIle Strike. In my opinion, that is one of the best decisions Bandai made.

If everyone dual wielded, it wouldn't be as awesome. Besides, each gundam from Build Fighters (and most gundams in general) has its own unique gimmick/fighting style. Dual wielding is the Zaku/Kampfer Amazing's schtick.

You mean the Oowashi pack (the flight-type one)... Yeah, pretty much. The two are very similar, though the Oowashi pack hasn't got the Destiny-style slotted wings.

richard1701able That actually seems pretty plausible, I always kinda figured Sei modified existing parts since we never see an instance of him using resin casts. Then again maybe he does cast his own parts and they simply don't show it so that the actual building doesn't get in the way of the battling.
