1/144 HGBF Star Build Strike Gundam Plavsky Wing Review

Just got this guy a couple days ago from hobby town USA in Austin with a action base a 1/48 scale p-35 mustang airplane and a modellers magazine. I got it for 20 dollars which is a good price especially for a store In the US. I love the wings they are awesome can't wait to start building him!

For the side skirts, to recreate the rotating beam sabers like in the show, try out the side skirts from the 1/144 Murasame. Might have to paint and cut them down in size though.

You're actually right about the second back pack peg it's the same as the Real Grade Strike's Striker pack peg

Prime the beam sabers are not 1/100 scale. They are the new style of 1/144 beam blades that debuted with the Wing Gundam

I like how this kit also has the added effect of making Sei look like a badass, what with being able to scratch-build the entire booster unit. on the bit with the cannons not being grey, were the grey parts for the booster made of ABS? because that stuff is usually reserved for parts that undergo some form of stress, and not for actual "parts".

Love your reviews. Now I have a question. Any idea if the mg universe booster coming out in march will have the plavsky wings? I love the way the star build looks, but i don't want to get the 1/144 if I can just wait a month and have it in mg form because I just got the mg build strike full package.

i think it would be cool if they made one of these with clear blue instead of grey for the rg system.

Guys, It's Universe Booster, Not Universal. The reason why the parts that's supposed to be gray, were not gray it's because it was intended for a separate release. Bandai wanted to save money by using less plastic, and going for mass production of it by itself. Of which, i hated Bandai for it. BTW Prime, Are you going to get the MG Tallgeese III, Geminass 01 and 02 by Dragon Momoko? Cause they look Badass.

What gets me though is that the new gun also comes with the booster in the separate release and the gun is all gray. They should have swapped some pieces around on the mold so that some of the gun parts were on the white runner and the blasters on the booster were on the gray runner.

In order to get more energy to charge the gun, sei should attach solar panels like mao did for the x maoh

I dont get why they gave it these types of wings. the type of wings mg destiny full burst(?) comes with looks alot more similar to the show. I guess this was more cost effective

Anyone know if just the HGBF Universe Booster comes with all the parts that go on the build strike, weapons and armor parts, or if it is just the booster part? I want to get this guy but I don't want to have to buy the build strike twice, I would rather buy the build strike full package and the universe booster by its self.
