that metallic candy finish is very hard to replicate but you did a good job! i like the articulation on this model but oof that's too expensive for me. i hope the good pupper didn't swallow the bazooka and only chewed it up because that could be an emergency. what a silly bowser is.

It's expensive but the color was worth it. You could buy so many kits for the price but it's gain pretty nice. I think you did a great job buying it

black primer 2 coats, 3 coats red (if you've got black, do one coat), polish for a more glossy look

I did a double take at Target the other day, they had kits in the toy section. Dont know if they were legit, but it freaked me out for a second.

Yep. Somehow target actually had gunplay. I got battlelogue series there and 2 real grades. It's rare but it does happen

Hobby lobby has some but target has some low grad kits also I wouldn't even call them a hg cuz the box is a 1/4 size of a hg the 1 I saw had a American flag rx78

@@classys-chassis6433 they are real bandai gunpla. The entry grade American type rx-78 is the first USA exclusive gunpla. They currently carry all the battlelouge kits as well as zaku 2, rx78 revive, Strike freedom, RG Exia and one other one i cant remember atm Edit: the one I couldn't remember is HG heavy arms

I really like your version , It looks battle ready. The new one looks like a show room car. Noticed that the Gundam Prices have gone up, and I agree with you on the individual fingers, no bueno. I'm building the RG MK II Titans RX-178 and have an RG Unicorn next. Hope you have a great week.

Also you may have some luck with the candy finish by checking with a place that specializes in airbrushing. They have multiple lines and hundreds of colors because they cater to motorcycle gas tanks and custom helmets, maybe they’ll send you a few swatches. Or your local art supply store where you can go in and see for yourself

I enjoyed this review but i don't think i will be adding this kit to my collection. The Sinanju is my favorite design that is not specifically a Gundam! You should not be getting that many nub marks from a kit that cost as much as this. I would like to say that i actually like your paint job! U did a good job. Anyway u look wonderful as ever Meli! The white tubes are external propellant tanks that in universe can be detached when empty.

I picked up this kit when I was in Japan back in 2019 but I haven't gotten around to putting it together. I expected the nub marks to be unsightly considering this is a 10+ year old kit and it definitely won't have undergated runners.

Hi, I have a good idea about what to do with your boxes I used to frame the boxes of my scale models and I would just cut the boxes to fit the frames and switch them around from time to time. That takes up a lot less space and lets you show the boxes off. I also know that Frosted Snow on here also has done some really good gunpla paint tips may help you upgrade that Titanium paint job on your other kit.

Hey @Gunplameli of ever you feel like doing a giveaway or trying to move some old gunpla out, remember this brother. It's super hard and extremely expensive to get Gunpla in my country. There are exorbitant prices and then custom and tax fees that makes it 10 times more expensive. Even Amazon sells an HG kit with 10 times the price. It's a fact.

I have a master grade MS-18E Kampfer that I candy coated blue and somehow got it pretty close to the same kind of titanium-like finish as this Sinanju by pure accident. I think what I did was improperly spraypainted the chrome enough for it to look like a slightly dull silver (it was my first time working with chrome and candy colors) and then applied a generous amount of Mr. Color clear blue coats one at a time until the color got pretty vibrant. So if I had to take a guess, maybe the key to getting that type of finish lies in how many layers of candy coats you put on.

#TitaniumKits, to me, are for collecting, & not for building. The nub marks, & pieces that are not metallic make me want to save gunpla like yours for either personal collecting, or potential resale. Good job on both kits! 🧸🕎✝️☪️🍪

that Ti Red is really hard to achieve by paints, and you have to mix well to get the red glow. I tried to replicate it as well but given up as I really don't have any idea for the paint mix. I have copied the "Yellowbird" instead.. hahaha

metallic colors on a non-undergated kit is always a bad idea, also a simple easy fix to cover up the nubs is those EX metallic chrome Gundam Markers.

Have you tried using a glass nano file on the nub marks? It's harder on the metallics but I can get it to so that nub marks are almost invisible. You can go the pricey hobby brand ones or get one in a nail polishing set for cheaper.
