the Zeong lacking legs is due to in-universe being only 80% complete but the engineers allow it to be deployed in battle with their excuse that the Zeong is a space only use Mobile Suit thus it does not need any legs in the first place saying they are only just "decorations".

The Evangelion kit references the series of Rebuild films. Unit 08 debuts in "Evangelion 3.0: You Can (Not) Redo", and its pilot is a new character: Mari Makinami Illustrious. The Rebuild continuity began in 2007, with 1.0; 2.0 followed in 2009 and 3.0 in 2012. The newest, and last, is 3.0+1.0 (don't ask; I don't get it either) released this year (as of this post) just a week or so ago in Japan. TLDR: Don't sweat not knowing what you're building.

If you are short on time: I would recommend watching the condensed movie trilogy of the show. But yeah the O.G. Gundam is a must watch. Easily one of the best shows ever made.

Use acetone for repairing the crack... one o two drops only inside the crack, dry the excess. Thank you for sharing your new acquisitions!

The Zeong was an incomplete build during the One Year War, that's why it had no legs at the time. Char took it into battle half finished

You should buy an rg gold frame Amatsu Mina ,the building process is quite challenging tho, parts are quite small, but you can either get the mg version of it

I had only seen Wing when I made my 1st MG, the Mk.2 so I can't be mad at you for not knowing every model you build. HOWEVER being the Char lover you are and not knowing about the Zeong... at least now you'll learn about one of Gundams most iconic scenes! Enjoy that build!
