Please note: You will need 4 x HORIZONTAL SIDE MOULDINGS (2 per side) - I have only put 2 in the cutting list. Thank you.

I really appreciate how you show the cutting list because I’ve never seen that on other videos. Most videos don’t even have verbal instructions.

The furniture pieces in both books are built in a similar style to those in the videos, so I'm sure you will enjoy them. Thank you again for subscribing and a warm welcome to my channel. :)

Very detailed tutorial! Thank you. I’m going to be making a more modern/contemporary 1:6 dollhouse. 👍🏼
@JulieWarren7 жыл бұрын
Hi Maggie, most of my pieces translate really well into 1:6 and this is one of them - I think this would look great in a larger scale. Good luck with the build. I'd love to see photos once you're done! :)

I agree, it will be suitable for conversation/reading area.

I have really fallen in love with this piece. I started out planning to put it in the Hallway of the Chicago House. Now I want one for the Front Porch,

😹😹love the use of the pegs they are a lot cheaper than the mini clamps 😹😹 I stopped using my wooden pegs for the washing years ago and they have sat up in the lining cupboard ever since 😳 now I have a good use for them thanks for such a brilliant idea 🤗🤗🤗
@JulieWarren7 жыл бұрын
I think they work better in some cases too, as they are not so strong as clamps, so don't mark the wood. Thank you for watching, Angela. :)

It looks great, and the tutorial is so thorough. I'm going to try this in 1/6 scale.
This is a great tute thank you! Will probably scale it down to 1:24. Thanks heaps for your tutes shared to Pinterest 😁

Julie, I love your tutorials. I am so glad that I found you. I was wondering if your pattens could be enlarged for 1:4 scale for dolls such as Tonner fashion dolls, and if so how would I go about doing so?
@JulieWarren7 жыл бұрын
Hi Sylvia, I'm glad you are enjoying the tutorials. I think most of them would be suitable to make in 1:4. It's not a scale I've ever built in, but the measurement is 3 inches to 1 foot, so you would need to increase the measurements I give by 3. I hope that helps. Please do double check the size looks right before you start to build, but I'm sure that's the calculation! :)

Julie, what do you use to cut your pieces initially, scroll or band saw, or craft knife and metal ruler? Yours always look so precise. Absolutely love your tutorials, I binge watch and take notes. Ordered your third book a few days ago, already have your other two. Thank you for sharing your talent.
@JulieWarren7 жыл бұрын
Hi Toni, I use a craft knife and I've done a video called, Working with Wood, which gives some tips and advice on cutting, which you might find helpful. I'm so glad you love the tutorials and thank you for ordering the new book, which I hope you will enjoy. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGOppIRsmNB2bJY

Thank you so much Barbara, I'm glad you found my channel! Thank you also for ordering the books, I'm sure you will enjoy the projects. I am self-taught and have been building furniture for about 17 years now! I have always loved the hobby and have been lucky enough to be able to turn it into a business. After my next miniature fair at the end of September, I hope to be adding more videos every week, so there's lots more to come! Thank you for all your lovely comments.
