I cant believe V3 didnt cover the extra ZZ pieces. You get enough to make a core fighter and the center of its gun piece so if youd like you can attach Tryon's backpack cannons to it and have them as a hand mounted gun. It also basically includes everything for conversion to the ZZ except for its backpack, which definitely adds play value to the overall kit.

Thank you so much for keeping the transformation music as the background music during transformation! Actually your transformation/assembly shots were pretty smooth too! And this is the first time I'm noticing a possible two-tone blue here and there, especially on the hands and joints. Man, I NEED this kit!!

+Justin Davila yeah there's a two tone scheme going on but just barely. You know how in most HGs the joints and frame work are done in grey plastic? Here isn't a dark blue.

anerysium the chances of that happening are very low, due to the fact that there will be newer gundam designs, hence newer MGs. They would have to get through the massive backlog of MGs, until they exhaust all options.

Those were some excellent shots at the end. A funny little thing I found out is that the wires from the SD Zeong/Perfect Zeong can be used on the Tryon's arms to replicate the rocket punch.

If you need a little more shoulder articulation without any real modification, it appears you can use the Medium-sized ball joints from the Balden Armed Arms and the No-Name Rifle in place of the shoulder adapters

"THIS IS NOT AN ANIME!" from the ZZ Gundam theme becomes kind of hilarious with this throwback to 70s-Early 80s Super Robot series. If I get this, I kind of want to give it some old school weapons to go with that beam sword. Maybe try for something like the EM yoyos from Combattler V, etc.

I don't know, but have you reviewed this before? Plus, you can put the boosters parts, spacers and the arm connectors in the unused base that was intentionally for the ZZ Gundam, but you can think up of various ways to use the extra parts (except for the Umi head), like putting the wings on the hip armor and it will do a flying kick finisher, or use the ZZ Gundam's parts that were not intended in the instructions and you can form a Tryon 2. Imagination comes to life for Gundam Customs.

I got this kit months ago after it was released but was overwhelmed by the amount of runners. After about two days off and on I finally assembled it, and I have to say it's pretty awesome. I still need to panel line it. But my real comment is that I love how you did the black wash on your Tryon3. I don't know if I dare try that as I feel I would permanently ruin it and have to put a new kit together lol.

I really love this thing, it's big, it's colourful, flashy as hell and kinda dumb. Has a charm of it's own, this video and the "big dumb sword" kinda sold me. There's alot of extra parts left on the plastic sprue. This is my first model kit that was a gift. I know nothing of gundam kits. This figure has alot of extra parts on the sprue. That just trash? Used for building anything figure from a set? Swap-able part?

Love the kit but I'm hoping we get a Soul of Chogokin Tryon 3 before too much longer. This design would really come to life in the SoC line and would be a lot closer to the awesome mech we see in BFT.

Tryon 3 is as much a Super Robot as it is a Gundam. Besides, this is one figure both Gundam and Super Robot fans would buy a 'perfect transformation' version of, meaning more sales.

Really? I find that sad. To me the Tryon 3 is like the Mark V Iron Man suit. It looks different, but it's still Iron Man, and it's something different than the million of other red/yellow/gold suits that are so close you can't tell them apart. The Tryon 3 is still a Gundam, but it's visually unique and brings something different to the universal aesthetic .

MG Tryon 3 would involve Bandai making a brand new MG ZZ Gundam, as the original is crap by today's standards. Add Tryon 3's niche appeal, and you have something that will probably never get a MG.
