Is the cable loop transformer for 50 Ohm cable or 75? Wouldn't a ferrite core transformer be better than that one? And the freq 1200 Mhz: what is it for? For 3G or cellphone communication?

If you do position the LED loop vertically, you are "cross-polarized" and the coupling to the LED loop will be reduced very significantly. At a far distance, this is also true. If you have two antennas facing each other and one is vertically polarized and the other horizontally polarized, the net gain between them is very, very low. Ordinarily, it's a good idea to mount the yagi with vertical polarization because it accommodates people with vertically polarized, omni-directional receiving antennas (ground plane antennas & single vertical elements.) TMI? Hope not.

Jim Matrix you could but it would be crappy, this is designed for frequencies way beyond TV so making an antenna designed for TV would do WAY better

Εγω δουλευω για τα αεροπλανα μου το Dragonlink στους 433Μhz και γι αυτο ταιριαζει να εχω για Video στους 1,2GHz.100km εμβέλεια με αυτην την κατευθυνομενη.Tbs crossfire με Kiss FC V2 δουλευω τα Quadcopter και video στους 5,8GHz.

yes sir it's possible but the geometry of the antenna will be so small so it becomes hard to tune to the exact 6ghz frequencie but u should try . you never know! you could get it from the first time ! good luck
