90s TV really had a certain level of comfort and warmth that cant be found in today's shows and commercials. Like a beautiful sunrise on an early morning. Makes you happy everytime you see it. Thank you for continuing to remind us of these days Dave

Another great collection that I hated to see end. It is true that there was a kind of aura of hope, security and familiarity in 90's TV (especially the ads) that has long since been lost. 📺 Thank goodness for memories...and of course Dave! You rock! 👍

How did we reach the point where commercials today have become so abrasive, annoying, and full of anxiety? In the 90s I genuinely enjoyed commercials. So many of these made me smile even today. After watching this, I looked up another video showing ads from 2023, and I couldn't get through two without having to turn it off.

Not sure what's more depressing seeing the prices of things in the mid to late 90's or traveling to Japan (which i just did) and realizing everything there is 40% cheaper than in the US.

Life is crazy. If we recorded a show on mcr or even later with dvr we would always skip the commercials. Now we sit and watch them on purpose. Cinderella (the band) said don't know what you got till it's gone.

That Stuart Anderson's guy would totally be a meme if those commercials were around now. "Aliens In The Family" just screams "cancelled after one season". Bro, I vividly remember those Orkin Man commercials, I actually thought they were really cool.🤣 Somehow, I forgot blue M&Ms are a recent thing considering how long M&Ms have been around. 20:14 The rare 90s prescription drug commercials. Nowadays, you're almost guaranteed at least two damn near every commercial break.

Looked it up, as I grew up watching TGIF and did NOT remember that show. It was pulled after 2 episodes on TGIF and then relegated to Saturday mornings when they did put it back on tv, 4 months later.

There's something oddly calming and relaxing watching old ads, I was born in the mid 80's but was more a product of the 90s and a lot of these ads I haven't seen in over 30 years. Many of them, whether by a visual or musical cue, evoke memories of watching TV with my sister and my parents on friday night, waking up early on saturday mornings to watch my favorite cartoons, coming home from school and vegging in front of the TV instead of doing my homework. They just hit different in all the best ways.
