Carbon Fiber Shelby Cobra
This is a 900 horsepower carbon fiber Cobra from Classic Recreations.
Its called the Diamond Edition 60th Anniversary, its limited to just 10 cars with shelby CSX Vins, embedded with real diamonds, and feature a removable 88 pound carbon fiber body.
Under the hood is a Supercharged Aluminator 5.0 liter V8 producing 900 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque, in a car that weighs just 2500 pounds, paired with a TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission and 9 inch rear end.
This Cobra should run 0-60 in 3.9 seconds with a drag limited top speed of over 190 miles per hour.

I can appreciate the full carbon body, but I'm struggling to see where the projected price tag on these is coming from say compared to a Kirkham for example.

This car is just ugly. Straight up kit car The carbon fiber is just not of that Era The upholstery is awful, the welds are ugly@13:13 The panels are wavy @5:12 The fit & finish is junk You got pieces of plexi as visors 🤦🏽‍♂️ No effort on those badges, typical CNC badge you can get made at the flea market Square windshield looks out of place on a bubbly car How about some braided hoses? Some billet hose clamps? How bout more effort and detail?

@@vi23100 I'm fine, I just have a low tolerance for intellectually disingenuous people. They spoke at length at what differences would be made in their production cars, and it is titled as a prototype on the video itself. Whether someone owns it or not on the time stamp you provided as a flimsy ass rebuttal to what I said, is ultimately inconsequential. And the market dictates the pricing, not you. If they move multiple units at 1.2M then thats what it's worth.

Of course we know the twin supercharged Super snake! I think he was more so highlighting the features of this car, not necessarily saying Shelby couldn’t do any of it. We know Shelby was throwing superchargers in the mustangs too in the 60s. But the two super snake cobras aren’t what come to mind for most people when they think of Cobras because of their rarity

The cobra weighs 2,500 lbs, 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, top end 190+mph and has a price tag of 1,200,000!! Yes that's one million two hundred thousand dollars$$$!!! The 2017 up 6th Gen ZR1 Camaro weighs 4,000 lbs, has 650 HP does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 200+ mph!! I've seen a couple for sale with very low miles under $50,000. So which gives the most bang and performance, plus air conditioning for the buck? 🤔🤔🤣🤣

Carbon Fiber = bragging rights . Its original automotive intended application was for weight reduction for competitive racing . Now days, it's so overly used on just about everything . 30 ft away, you can't tell it's CF, just looks like a brown car . It's in CA, so they may find some guy that believes all the hype of this car . For $1.2M , I'd much prefer to buy 7 or 8 all aluminum Kirkhams . The total parts to build that car is around $100K , subtract that from $1.2M , and you are left with $1.2M !! Good work if you can get it !!

Nine-hundred horsepower is just a marketing feature and not at all practical. Five-hundred is plenty for this chassis. But then you wouldn't have bragging rights at the country club.

They sure are! I’m not sure how much a fully optioned car is. I believe they have some items that they are willing to do totally custom as well which would be hard to price. I would assume these are upwards of $1 million
