With those magnets on the fuel did you see any different on consuption?

I also have fuel magnets on the common rail fuel pipe in that position.

It is a problem in distribution systems . More specifically, in the chain tensioner and it should be replaced . This problem had 1.2 TSI from 2009 to 2011 , then there lady engineer put another chain and trees , which should solve the problem. But I'll see over time . New models in 2016 returned back to the belt you will probably be better . We'll see over time ,,,, :)

New models returned to belt drive earlier, for example the VW Golf VII and the Skoda Octavia III as early as 2013 with the EA211 series engine.

hey hello. In what car do you have the 1.2TSI? I also have that rattling noise, and I tought it was normal. Now I'm finding several videos with people showing this same rattling noise convinced it is some sort of fault or defect... Did you do someting about it? is it really a defect or problem? Do you happen to have some other convincing claim, review or information about this being a defect? I think i have the same CBZB engine in a Seat Toledo . thanks hope I get an anwser

Hy there! The engine is CBZB on Ibiza. So far no problem, except that i have to use the 100COR gasoline, or there are noisses coming from the engine. That noise comes from the actuator's shaft. I looked at new cars in showroom and they had the same noise. The noise itself is not a problem, maybe disturbing. The noise you should hear and start worring about is the distribution chain. That sound may be hearable in some conditions, like very cold weather, but for only few seconds, 2-4 secs. In my opinion for not having problem with this engine is to treat it well. It is not a sport engine.

This sound is normal.. i would say... mine sounds like this too... sometimes the fuel pipe can "touch" the car's body and make a "vibrating noise" but you only need to change the position of the plastic pipe...

der Spanier At those kms the engine worked just fine. After 45k kms the engine begun having problems. At 68k km it had to be changed by SEAT.

No, my friend. Those are just an... expensive joke. A friend asked me to install them to test how they work. After a lot of kms i told him that after a few kms the gasoline level went to full all the time :P Cused by the magnets :P In conclusion, they are just a joke. If they were good at something, i guess all the car companies would install that king of magnets on their cars. I believe they have a placebo effect...
