The moment when you buy a model kit, pick up some aftermarket then while you wait for delivery you check KZbin for any build videos.....then you see this video of exactly same kit, exact same aftermarket even down to the paint masks....that's an awesome moment! I look forward to closely following the build mate.

Being a Hurricane (the forgotten fighter) over the beautiful Spitfire man myself I intend to build a bigger scale kit one day hopefully the Revell kit will have outsourced plastic for their 1/32! I found Pacific Coast produced one but they're very rare.

Just a thought.. I’ve seen reference photo’s of those cockpit (tubular) frames in various states ranging from straight aluminium through to painted RAF cockpit green.. the more interesting have been those where the cockpit green has been worn to allow the aluminium show through… how about the next coat being silver or aluminium, followed by cockpit green & then chipping back… more interest right?

Sounds good, but this kit was finished 8 months ago. They go on Patreon for early access and drop to KZbin a few months later

@@RWHobbies yeah, I’d figured that from the comment that followed mine… a bit of a shame, but interested to see what you do with the cockpit.. maybe highlight to people it’s not a current build for the future? Saves me looking dafter than I already do..😄
