1.3 ratio rockers versus 1.1 ratio on a Duromax 208
Did some top speed and zero to thirty runs with the DuroMax 208 powered Bonanza mini bike with 1.1 ratio rocker arms. Swapped the 1.1 ratio rocker arms out for a set of 1.3 ratio rocker arms and did the same speed test to see if there was any difference in performance.

I just put on some 1.3’s with 28lb springs I really didn’t notice a difference. I had to dremal out my guid plates to get them to work. The aluminum flywheel was a good increase. The .080 key way was a nice bump. The tillotson carb was a huge bump. But the 1.3’s. Not so much. Stock Coleman ct200u 196. Stock gears 42mph. But it gets there fast. Need to do a 0 to 30 and see if I’m close to black66.

@@thefishingchannel3192 E85 carries 76,330 BTU/gal. Normal 87 octane around 116,090 BTU/gal. Meaning e85 carries less energy per combustion cycle as compared to regular unleaded. @@Black66 as a motor builder for many go karts around Ca with 1.3 ratio rocker on the intake side only is 30% more lift. Coil bind just turning a motor over vs under a load is different. We run red strip 10.8 springs at .850 and shim the install height to .615 and run a mod 2 cam and turn 8,200 before valve float. The exhaust is the first one to bind or float but what do I know 😂

125 @ 3700 ft? since not everyone is at 50 ft above sea level... 14.7 PSI air pressure. at 3500 ft.... its 13 PSI air pressure. less O2 needs LESS gas , NO MORE. harleys backfiring here when off throttle as... u put a Pipe on it U GOT TO PUT ON A BIGGER JET... yes, maybe at SEA LEVEL... NOT at 3555 ft as there is less air. just wastes gas and pollutes with raw gas being run out the tailpipe
