1/4 scale P51 with DLA 116 Inline Twin flown by Neville Wright (1080HD)

This beautiful 1/4 scale P51 KARF Kit was flown at the Warbird Fly In at Swartkop AFB on 14 July by Neville Wright. it is powered by a DLA 116 Inline Twin gas motor and turns a 27x10 Prop.
Queen of Hearts 1/4 Scale R/C: Colour-scheme inspired by the P51-D full-size Mustang of Patrick Davidson.
The photos were taken by Bennie Henning who gave me permission to use them in my video.

Great display - What a super sound - NICE model ! On my channel I get fly over the White Cliffs of Dover UK, with the Eachine Spitfire, P51, T28 and Corsair plus a modified P51 with a built in camera.

You can try .DLA-116i2 prop size can be used a little bigger. It can play the strength of the engine.

Nicely done....nicely done indeed. I am curious however. You say this is a 1/4 scale. What is the wingspan please? It looks like the DLA 116 is plenty of motor for this plane.

I spoke with Neville Wright, the plane is a Carf Models P51 with a 2,54m wingspan. I checked , it is a 1:4.3 scale plane. Not sure about the prop. Might be a 28x10.. Not confirmed
