Next time try the Clear Gorilla Glue for the canopy. 30 minute cure time and I've never had any fogging. Love the video, as always Great Job!!!

I'm excited to see the scheme and how you paint it all! Always think about the colorful versions but never wanted to mess with the decals. Great start and tips so far Sean!

Looking forward to how this one turns out...That paint job should look amazing once complete. I second the suggestion for a Texas shaped base. Love the styrene tube idea for the display. Its always a good thing to have a proper receptacle for your rod...I must say...my inner Beavis or Butthead had a chuckle at that one!

Yes a Texas base would be perfect for this.!🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

Beauty…another build so quick…..had a chuckle re your static discharger’s comment….as hard as I tried to avoid them the more I broke them off 🤪

I agree with you sir that you should wait for the putty to dry before removing the excess, an excellent idea. You are a very intelligent and handsome man!

Well let the coolness get into your vertebrate and you can’t get more cool than a F-16.!.This kit looks a stunner in the Texas ANG scheme.. All the best from Blighty🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

This is an awesome kit! Just be aware of how soft the plastic is and the panel lines are shallow.

Just got this kit for Xmas! Excited to see how you go about it!

I am just getting settled down from your Starfighter build. My favorite jet growing up. Even more so from Star Trek. Would a base in the shape of Texas be the bee's knees?

Thanks for showing the cockpit decals tutorial!

Don’t feel bad about breaking those static wicks off. They are grossly out of scale. There are brass sets in multiple scales that are perfectly scaled replacements.

I like your take on the interior - just enough to do the job, why waste time on what you are not going to see? I have the Hasegawa and Tamiya F-16s in the stash so this is an interesting comparison between the different kits. I am toying with the idea of building one as a 'what if?' aircraft. Back in the seventies, maybe eighties, the USAF was experimenting with an un-piloted , half scale jet called the HIMAT. It bears a very close resemblance to the F-16 but with canard foreplanes and twin fins mounted on swept-back wings. I always liked that design and wondered what a manned version would have looked like, watch this space . . .

I actually watched a video of a guy building the new Revell 1/48 SR-71 and the knucklehead assembled and painted the landing gear before placing them in the bays, gluing the doors on and sealing them inside (and probably rattling around). We've all spent the time doing detail work that will be hidden or hard to see, but that took the cake.

Put a peg around it, they won't break that way, or carton. And they are quite flexible they only break after many many times bending them

I saw they are finally releasing the dream viper version.

Hi …. Could you tell me more about the putty? Ni e Job, congrats!!!

Those static wicks would not survive the first week if I was to build it. They are not to scale either. On an F-16 at that scale they would be barely visible, more like 4 lbs. monofilament fishing leader. 'Model on dudes'!
@t.travelerjg19083 күн бұрын
Master Models makes some decent static dischargers in this scale from turned metal.

Yeah, don't do what I did heating a flat panel with a hair dryer and the thing curling up like a dead leaf.

Is there any room on KZbin for an incompetent modeler with a penchant for accidental self injury? I would like to start that channel.
