I went to an airshow is July and they did a demonstration with an F-35. Including formation flying it with a P-51.

Really nice video but it's a bit odd to watch it without you talking in the background or giving us a brief history of the aircraft you are building. I am glad that the formula of videos had changed and now videos are longer and with comment.

Build looks good. What a pain doing all that masking but it turned out so that's what counts. I noticed your airbrush seems to be clogging quite a bit. Do you use the Vallejo flow improver?
@TheModelGuy5 жыл бұрын
I use their thinner and the same issue happened on my Hurricane build. I checked my o-ring under a magnifying glass and noted that it had "feathered" if that makes sense? It's been replaced now and doesn't seem to be an issue. As for the masking I don't think their is another way to really get the RAM lines to look nice Appreciate the feedback from you

Ah the dastardly O ring... that'll do it. Yes sometimes there's no other way to mask things only the hard way.

@@TheModelGuy : 11'36", clear coat before decal, a std process anyway, but nothing after in this video. That's why I'm surprised.
@TheModelGuy4 жыл бұрын
You absolutely do not need to clear before decals. I've watched a video of Will Pattison putting thick Tamiya decals on a low grit piece of sandpaper.
@raphanunu69124 жыл бұрын
@@TheModelGuy : MicroSet dilutes acrylics, water with dishwashing liquid doesn't cause any damage. English isn't my langage, surely I'm not clear enough but in your own video you apply varnish before decal and not after, and thinner ruins decals if they're not protected, at least in my bad experiences.

so the GBU-53 can be hanged externally, interesting
@TheModelGuy4 жыл бұрын
They're being designed to also be used by other aircraft such as the F-16/F/A-18E as well. So it makes sense they can be hung on external hardpoints.

Check the vendor, it should be around $50.00 USD I believe. Amazon can have crazy mark-up if the vendor doesn't want to close the item down. That's why you'll see kits for $500+ dollars
