This Race Spec 1 package from Dallas Performance was installed on a beautiful and very rare Black 6 Speed Lamborghini Superleggera Gallardo. The "DP RS1" package is a Twin Turbo System with Race Spec Engine capable of making: 1,000 whp with 93 Octane Fuel and 1,600+ whp with VP C16 Race Fuel.

I hate how people keep saying other companies copy Underground Racing. It's not like they have a copyright to twin turbo Gallardos. There is probably a single way that works the best. Underground Racing is not the only shop that is smart enough to realize these types of things. And I'm not bashing UGR, I think they're kits are fantastic.

No, stock short blocks aren't used. Most of the time, in UGR's case, they use a billet short block with all forged internals. Titanium internals I believe.

A regular manual 2R gallardo from UR ran 224 in a half mile at shift sector. it may have beat the Alpha Omega but it isnt anywhere near UR's level. This year at TX2K14 Mullets 2R superleggera from UR is going to be a problem!

You can do it other ways but to package it efficiently you aren't going to have a lot of options.

UGR is overrated I can name 3 other performance shops more reliable then UGR, as far as setups go Mr. Mix is correct there aren't many other efficient ways you can package everything into such a tight space that's why most of these shops make and weld their own parts in ways they think is going to produce the most power, for instance take a look at the intake manifolds on this particular Lambo they seem to channel air better and more efficiently then any other setup ive seen you just have to look really closely at everything to see whats unique about each shops setup, UGRs setups have become very generic and not very innovative, DP really has something here, 210+mph in 1/2 mile is just crazy fast and its stick!

It was the world record for the half mile but I think it was broke the next day by a UGR Gallardo by 4mph. Dallas Performance wasn't allowed to make another pass on this day because they didn't have a roll bar in the car but made another pass the day after where they broke an axle I believe.
