Replacement on same motor but in audi is much easier. Since the engine is installed lengthwise, the turbo is located on the side of the engine block and is therefore more accessible. Great video.

I have same car..... Will take it off this weekend and take it in for service.... New one too expensive lol...... Guess its best to start doing this in the morning even though it seems pretty simple and straight forward..... Thanks buddy 👍

JW automotive based in Essex do high quality factory replacement turbos and hybrid turbos. Just ordered a pd150 billet turbo from them

Imi poti spune ce marca este turbina, este cumva nissens? Cati km ai rulati cu noua turbina si cum se comporta? Am montat si eu recent una nissens si vad ca se comporta bine in 300 km parcursi, nu a fost nevoie sa mai umblu la reglaj.

Youre not the only one, currently on month 2. Getting the car back together now and ive had a hella hard time with stuff. Ive also done other maintenance while in there but DAMN. Not fun.

It did come out in the end. dont ask me how I did it, but I spend a lot of money on buying tools and spray cans. In the end, I welded the cat in a slightly off angle, and i had to cut and redo it again. Then an event in my private life happened that I really couldnt spend any more time on the now 'project' and I needed to get rid of it unfortunately. I got it picked up for $200 and it was gone. I used most of my savings to buy an 2017 A4, 3.0 TDI. I'm happy with that because its amazing, but I still miss my old reliable 2004 a4 but I just dont have the time luxory any more. Hopefully when life becomes stable again in the future, ill be home mechanic again

I do t think the oil in the siringe is for the purpose you used it for isnt it to spray in the turbo feed pipe to prelube as it takes a fre secs before it sucks the oild from your car sonit can damage the turbo 😂

No, its not true. In instruction are specificaly said, to put that oil into through oil feeding hole and with hand spin turbos wings
