We are the lucky owners of the Xquisite that shared sundowners and our story with Rico and Victoria. We had never sailed a boat before but were inspired by the Nauti Style’s channel to follow our dream. We have owned our Xquisite for 15 months and it is everything and more than we dreamed. I fell in love with the Xquisite brand a few years ago, the very first walk-thru somebody put on youtube. The attention to detail is fantastic and their system of monitoring the maintenance schedules, not having to deal with anyone for warranty because they handle contacting the equipment manufacturers for you, now building a location in the Bahamas! Their commitment to satisfying the customers is unparalleled. The only thing I'd change would be making the owner's cabin with an island bed. Sadly, my financial levels would never even let me afford to charter one, but I'd just about give up my firstborn for the chance to sail on one! LOL

Over the last couple of years you have toured many styles of boats & yachts with different layouts and all were beautiful. I must say that for a liveaboard a " Cat " is a very nice way to go with tons of room and storage, and not to mention the different options for sail and power by either engine or electric. Your Meridian is a nice yacht for sure, but as you have both said there are many things that you would like to have aboard that you lack right now ( bigger engine room, better refrigerator LOL and more room ) Oh I hope a Cat is in your future as I can just see you both having a fantastic time traveling from point to point and really enjoying boating life ! Of course relocating to Florida would be a wonderful idea, hint hint and open up many places to explore. Thank you for all the work you do on these presentations and have a great weekend ! Hiya Vico, Another perfect video, thank you both so much. Rico, I can remember when you would not say a single word, now, V can't shut you up! What a turnaround! I remember seeing another channel, it was an, I think Canadian couple looking at every cat they could to see which one to buy to retire on, he was a police officer. He was invited by Tamas to South Africa to tour the factory, interview the workers and then go out on a sail. Then a new owner invited him to help sail their new cat from SA to the USA. Tamas went along for the first bit. I don't know why I stopped watching but it was a good channel, nice tours at boat shows, out of date now but I saw the Xquisite toolbox before you. I bet Rico's jaw dropped when he first saw/heard about it. Tamas is I believe exactly what this industry needs, he's been there, done it and worn out the tee-shirt. His idea for the base in the Bahamas, I want to put one on Granada, but he's been there, I have not, again experience shows. As an engineer/electrician I loved when they first showed how the wiring was done, the four distribution boxes, are perfect, reducing wiring and costs. labelling both ends of just not cables, but pipes etc. I think the anti-rotation marks are new but perfect. I, who know little of boating, think this is one of the very best firms/designers of touring cats. Stay safe, Steve xx...

What a boat! I have evolved over time from looking at catamarans as "those people," to understanding and appreciating them, I see the attraction and now see them as the great bost they are. I have a few Cats I love but the Xquisite take it to a whole other level. It is easy to say you are going to use the best materials and construction techniques but it is something else to be so knowledgable and smart in how you do it. They are people who have spent their time on boats saying "you know what it needs" and "you know what would be awesome." That is a boat that others, even cats, will be chasing.

Cruising Off Duty did an entire delivery and crossing of an Xquisite on their channel a couple of years ago. While it is not the updated version, it shows a lot of detail of the boat actually performing and addresses some minor issues and shows the the extremes that the company will go to to provide whatever customer service is required.

Cool trick with the storage integrated to the steps. I like the master. The laundry setup is very smart. I also like a lot the dryer exhaust. The engine room is very neatly organized. It helps that the watermaker is in the storage in the bow.

Absolutely one of my favorite yachts reviewed. When I saw all the storage, I thought that it would be nice for Xquisite to label (tastefully and small) each storage compartment and write an app for a pad to keep an inventory of where the crew stores everything! Each storage locker could have a reasonable set of assigned things one could simply check which would go in the list and of course one could add any item one desires in addition. We are always asking ourselves where we put things on longer cruises and it would be nice to simply query and look it up! Great job on the boat and the video review!

I was cruising comfortably in my X5+ at 15 kts on my way to Hawaii, when a display suddenly went dead, no problem, I walked to the kitchen, took my tools out of the drawer. According me the most cool part of the boat. I removed the display to replace it with the reserve screen. Via my sat internet connection I ordered a new one. I noticed it was 5:00 pm so my workday was over. I closed my laptop, gave the boat systems a quick check. As usual all was perfect. It was a bit chill outside so I decided to stay indoors and open the dead display to repair it. I took my oscilloscope and soldering gear from the big drawer in front of me and started to open the display. Suddenly I felt something wet in my face. Strange nothing to see. So I ignored it. I removed the screws, but there it was again, now accompanied by the faint sound of a barking dog. I checked the GPS plotter but there was no land nearby. Probably a seal. Again something wet in my face. I opened my eyes and looked into big 2 brown eyes, my view partly blocked by a big pink tongue licking my face. It was my dog, telling me to wake up and walk with her. Damn, it was just a dream..... For 1.9M I am pretty sure it will stay a dream, a very happy one, but sadly still just a dream.

I'm sold... if and when it happens, I would buy this Cat. I think the only change I would want is a "work-room" for projects rather than the 3rd cabin. Better than perfect cruiser! I love the motor version of this yacht. I would never want to sail the world with diesel as my only backup. Electric motors with solar plates and an generator for back up is the best choice for me. The plan of XQUISITE is well planned and to have a set up right in the Bahamas is a wonderful exquisite plan, i wouldn't be surprised if every future runs on an app and can see the angle from the top of the catamaran from one's phone, I love the deep cabinets in the gally well done it's perfect!

The more you've showed on this cat the better and better it gets. So much thoughtfulness and attention to detail, it's a little masterpiece. Biggest concern I see is lack of ventilation in the interior cabin spaces, more window openings sure would be the cherry on top. I think this is literally my dream sailing catamaran though. edit: and considering the level of quality assurance, customer service and hands-on time devoted to the handoff, it seems like the price tag starts being justified.

Your comment about the owner-builder & wife's idea to "build it perfect" reminds me of sailing on Mr & Mrs US Army General George Patton's twin mast kethch "If & When"; in Boston Harbor's Marblehead 1987. Seems the wealthy East Coast couple had earlier chartered a West Coast monohull that didn't exactly meet their preferred specs. So thay kept a log: "If & When" - which became their marine architect's blueprint! for the very vessel I sailed on in 1987! HA! Who'd a figurered! Nice content! Keep on keppin' on Nauties!

Again, I like the exposed drink fridge in the cockpit, just like the Bering 77. Someone who uses cats would know to save the weight, the construction time and materials, and the potential failure point of a cover door. This cat shows all the learning using a cat for years can give you. The tablet at the nav station also keeps in touch with the factory for predictive maintenance and troubleshooting.

I wish they did a little more explanation of the enclosure in the aft of the boat. It makes into an entirely climate controlled space or an extra bedroom for long passage. I saw it in use in a previous video. It was a spectacular use of space with great design.

I fully lost the gained "Trust" when I found out that the Story about charging the Battery in 30min in done by the Generator xD He is very hush to not let you come to that conclusion straight away, but it is inferred and I highly doubt that 2.28KWH Solar can magically fill an 80KW Bank in 30min ^^

I just love the concept of the Exquisite concept in the Bahamas. Especially the use of mainly solar generation. We would use such a vessel mainly in the Pacific Northwest all the way around the top of Alaska and across the polar run through to Greenland.

I'm not up on Xquisite yachts. I've bound to have seen a few, but my memory not so good. I'm not a SailCat fan compared to my love of Power Driven Vessels. But some do turn a head. She's a beauty.

The hybrid tech he mentions is mental. Five ways through Sunday backups and limp in solar power back ups. I'd love to meet this guy. He offers do much along with the vessel. Think I'll get one if I win lottery. I'd love to tour this when launched.
