Been waiting for hull #1 to show up at a show for over 2 years. That targa arch for solar panels should be an industry norm. The renders on the Xquisite site do not do her, and the design overall, justice. The elevated helm position with a cozy no-hardtop roof lounge area seems like the perfect comfort-performance tradeoff, allowing for more sail area but still a bit of lazy sunbathing square footage. Given the rep the builder earned for quality, workmanship and attention to detail with the X5, I cannot wait to give this model a thorough examination come the spring show early next year. And I soooooo hope the polars on the site hold up.

What a boat! Close to perfection. If it had aluminum hulls instead of fiberglass and shaft drive instead of sail drive, it would definitely have been the best sail boat on the market.

shame that there is no Helm rotating to inside cockpit, and a forward cockpit. the rest is superbe.
