The story on how Fischl got her vision threw me for a loop and I had to read it multiple times to make sure I understood what I was reading then just one last time just to confirm it was what I thought it was. So crazy she made her fantasy reality... WTF?

In the design notes for xiao that mihoyo/hoyoverse released a while ago, they revealed that xiao's constellation is depicting the mythological bird the Peng/鹏, which is somewhat related to figures like Garuda (there's more detailed notes for why they chose the Peng and its relation to Garuda too so it's not just a coincidence for xiao). The Vermillion bird, which is the guardian of the south, is a different entity, which is different than the chinese phoenix/feng huang. They are all big birds though and the peng is way less known compared to the other two LOL

@@rainbow4545 The Peng is a holy bird in Buddhism and Hinduism resembling a huge eagle, usually gold in colour. It is not that well known outside of these two religions. In Chinese, Xiao's yaksha name is actually JinPeng (金鹏) or golden peng and not Alatus similar to Pervases who is actually name TongQue (铜雀) or bronze pheasant. It's a little unfortunate how most Western fans didn't know about Xiao's divine beast form while to most eastern fans and especially the Chinese like myself, it's a well known fact.

Why Kujou Sara is electro? Because of Element Symbolism. Anemo is closer to those free but also have experienced lost. Electro is determined by some to be determination bordering on Stubbornness. And Sara is determined.

Also there's a pattern of the leader (ore equivalent to a leader) of each nation have the same element as the Archon of their respective nation. Jean and Venti with Anemo, Nigguang and Zhongli with Geo and so Sara and Raiden Ei iwith Electro.

@@honorfoxcroft7170 In regards of the pattern you are only partly correct. I would say the political most influencal character what Jean and Ningguang are in Mondstadt and Liuye. Even if we go with what you would say "leader" i could agree with this two. But Sara is not the leader of the nation or the most influencal character within the nation. First of all, Sara is not even the leader of her own commission. And there are aspects she has no saying in. She is maybe on a level of influence with Ayaka. There is no direct leader of the nation because Raiden herself leads the nation unlike what we had in Liuye and Mondstadt. And i think there is one character in Inazuma with more influence then any of the tricommissions Leaders and that is Yae Miko, who herself holds a electro vision.

Another fun fact about Bennett's name is that "Bennett Fracture" is the name of a particular bone fracture specifically in the thumb, and Bennett's signature hand sign is the thumbs up, shown in the crest on his burst and done a few times by himself in the story.

I was reading ayato's stories in his profile while waiting for my resin to hit 40 to do a boss run One them were talking about his pass time of doing calligraphy and how he receives alot of calligraphy pens as gifts which he keeps in a wooden box All except 3, one he uses on his desk, the other I forgot, but the 3rd one is a pen given to his by his mother as a gift that he keeps secured in his personal cabinet Also alot of his voice lines indicate that he really does miss his parents alot and mourns them deeply

funfact about fischl : she says her homeland is the realm of eternal night which is essentially the same as khaenriah/abyss (the electro abyss lector bio even says they get their powers from a realm of eternal night too) - coincidentally fischl also left in 1.1 event abruptly before going to the musk reef (its also highly likely that she knew most of the things going on within the event, paimon even mentioned at the end that fischl was right all along + fischl could’ve read the leonard book before us since she’s in the library a lot) edit : also “amy” (her real name) and oz are demon names in the ars goetia which contains morax, baal and barbatos demon names too

paimon’s name is a demon name too and it has been debunked it has nothing to do with the archons (aka the time god theory was cancelled). fischl is NOT a traveller from another world, she just has a “delusion” of herself (by which i mean she perceives herself as somebody else, not that she has a anti-vision) where she portrays, plays and genuinely thinks of herself as a book character. when she was little, she used to spend a lot of time at the library and read books. one day she came across the book i previously mentioned, and because she was so enclosed and aspired to be the same as the princess from the book, fearless and fighting evil to defend her homeland, she slowly equipped that persona on herself. her parents did nothing but feed into that delusion, and ever since then she has been known as “fischl” rather than amy. fischl is NOT from the abyss, she is just deluded

copy pasting this bc i’m lazy barbara is an idol known by all of mondstadt, gorou might be known as a general but it’s mostly because he’s pampered because of his good boy abilities, ningguang is elegant and the ruler of liyue, diona is a bartender and she’s known to be liked (for all the wrong reasons) by the general public because she’s a cat (same as gorou), and kokomi is reverted by the people of watatsumi as well as a tremendously good strategist. not to mention she looks otherworldly (same as ningguang, except ningguang incorporates humanly beauty). they also clap for mona but that’s just because she’s a renowned astrologist, as well as an admired scholar. they don’t just add those adjectives to their stories to make them seem like they’re big deal, they ARE the big deal i don’t think they would sit there and only make the clapping available for the npcs in that specific region that they’re known in; they got better things to do.

ah about kokomi she is actually a rencarnation of one of these 7 dragon leaders of the sorts. They first ruled over Teyvet before anyone was there and it is stated a war happened of the sorts and they went into hiding underground. It is suspected that Celestia was a invader of worlds perhaps. This was lore built by a ex friend of mine but use it as you wish

Eula was my first limited five star and my first friendship 10 character, needless to say that I have a major soft spot for her. I saved her story for last during the bartender event because I was very curious about what she was going to say, and I ended up feeling really sad for her. We already know from her story quest how much her background drives people away, and the way she expresses herself also leads her to be misunderstood. A lot of her issues were probably caused because of how she was raised and how she was taught to act despite disagreeing with her bloodline and their actions. Seeing her drunk and talking about why she drinks alone, how she's treated because of her lineage, and how she wishes that people could appreciate her for who she is like the Traveler is made me sad. I actually liked the event a lot because it gave us a bit more insight into the characters and what kind of people they are in a more casual context, it was like a bunch of little hangout events. I get that people who don't care about lore found that event was boring, but I loved just getting to see the characters outside of quests.

I'm sure you already know this, but Hu Tao's song in her idle animation is based off of a Chinese poem, "Ten rabbits" Edit: I learned this from @Gnik (Their channel is cool, you can check it out) Hu Tao's legs in the official art form the letter "4" which in Chinese numerology is considered unlucky because it sounds like "si" which means "death" However, I also found on Google that quote: "While in the musical scale, Four is pronounced Fa, the same sound with 发 (fortune) in Chinese. Therefore some people regard 4 as the propitious and lucky number in this case and there is an old saying in Chinese - 四季发财 (be wealthy all the year round)." Funny thing is that Hu Tao composes duets with Xingqiu and likes making songs and poems. She takes the whole "Balance between life and Death" to a whole new level. From food advice (Moonlight Merriment) to her clothes (The back of her coat has flowers representing life and death) to the butterflies, etc.

The video is great and interesting, but if I may offer advice, please consider saying "actually" less in your script. It started to stand out more and more the longer the video went on, making it harder to focus on the interesting info you shared once I noticed it. Like "huh, there is that one word again... wait, what did he just say?" type of confusion. By my count you said it around 32 times in a 20 minute video (I checked because it started to bother me by the end) which is a lot for one filler word. But honestly that's just the inner writer/script maker part of my brain poking holes into my attention span. Keep up the good work.
