@@doutdoornwrenching1010 I used to be up at 5am, catching fish. I plopped crappie and bluegill on the counter at 8am and told my wife "I brought home the dinner, now I'm goin' to get the bag 💰". Went to work after catching fish. It was some of the greatest times I have had in life bringing it all home, cash 💵 and food 🎣 I gotta get back out there.

Hell yea! That sounds awesome and exactly what my father did when I was young. I’m 36 now, but my kids don’t like eating fish unless it’s battered and deep fried 😂 dang kids these days! I remember eating fish with only salt and foil wrapped

To answer your question, yes I do! There are signs stating the mercury level and how much to consume for each species. This place is no different from catching fish at the delta or Sacramento River system. I love to eat fish. I wouldn’t hesitate to keep them if I wanted to or if someone is asking for some. Besides that, I’m not a fan of storing fish in the freezer to eat later because more often than not, I will forget about them 😅

From late fall-late spring, you can find monster schools of keepers out here.

The big ones live in Lake Washington. Fished there on the 6th. Got one 5 1/2 lbs. Several between 3 and 4. That striper was a nice one. Ill look for you out there. My brother and i fish out of a white and purple Skeeter! Come by a say hi if you see us. Chatterbaits, spinnerbaits and frogs.

Our biggest is 6 1/2. Best to fish the lake area at high tide. To many weeds during low tide.

Yes. A lot of fish in there but it can get pretty shallow and not fun trying to get out of that open flat
