Question: if this man was a Christian and thrown into the world to kill the flesh so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord, is this not saying you could lose your salvation? Not that the church could take it away, but they themselves could lose it?

Pastor Lance replies - While it IS a controversial subject that Christians dispute, there are those who contend that it is possible for someone to forfeit their salvation. This passage may be a nod in that direction.
