Excellent video. Hope you enjoyed your day here in Newfoundland, despite the rain and fog. Being a tour guide myself, it is extremely rewarding to have tourists like yourselves visit our island.

Just happened upon your video. As a lifelong resident of beautiful St. John's, I am delighted to see how much you enjoyed your brief stay (despite the weather)! It is a thrill, indeed, to see humpback and minke whales, puffins, and the magnificent bald eagles, and I'm well impressed with your climbing skills in tackling Signal Hill. Well done! I've heard many comments on how close the rocks and buoys feel when you're passing through The Narrows on the Iceberg Quest tour, so I can only imagine it feels like quite a tight squeeze when you're aboard a massive cruise ship like that! Our capable harbour pilots haven't lost one yet! Lol! Again, glad you enjoyed your brief visit. Perhaps you can come again for a longer stay sometime. Stay safe!

Great to see people enjoy our provinces views, too bad you weren't able to see around the bay and all the small baymen towns.

Love the video. FYI - whilst the Cabot Tower is famous for receiving the first transatlantic wireless signal, construction of the tower began in 1898 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of John Cabot's discovery of Newfoundland, and Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.

Stunning video! Whale watching is something I will always recommend to people! When I went, we saw a lot of Southern Right Whales and they are so inquisitive and come right up to the boat. Lately, the local tour operators are posting pics of orca's too :). Keep SAfrica in mind for another one of your adventures!

I like the way they're pronouncing it. It's not the way I say it, but I love a British accent.

I know it's not their fault but as a native it's so hard to hear Newfoundland pronounced as New "Found" Land.

As a native Newfoundlander I could care les how visitors pronouce my province's name. I've been to Europe and mispronounced many names. It's no big deal. Really overrated.
