Ironically, I was an enforcer in a Star Trek fan club. In most clubs whether biker or other. I usually ended up an enforcer or Sergeant at arms. Like I said when I left the Military I was in a bad head space. That seemed to scare some people. In a few cases I was the first person who people called when they wanted problems squashed. That could be 1 in the afternoon or 4AM. The less sleep I got the less in the mood for talking I was in. Sense I was a small guy that gave me even more insensitive not to let things go to far.
@JimDebones3 жыл бұрын
@@ShotByGabe we actually did a lot of good in the community. These same projects would have major p.r. boost for any organization. If you are laughing about the enforcer title. I settled everything from rules violations to domestic violence incidences. I even handled suicide interventions. At some of the conventions we handled security. You would be surprised at the conduct of the drunks at these events. I prevented several assaults. A mass shooting and stopped several stalkers. Not all Sci-Fi fans are skinny nerds. Some of these people are 8 times the size I was. Don't be so quick to laugh. Some of our members were bikers and a few were members of the big 8 MC's. Some of our members were long term and others were short term. Ironically we even had a cop trying to infiltrate our group. A former member levied some false claims and got us investigated.
@JimDebones2 жыл бұрын
@Nordic Nation I don't do drugs. At least not ones the doctor doesn't prescribe. Every group has an enforcer. I'm very proud of the work that we did within our community. I have advocated that the best way to improve the reputation of a group is through community service. Every group has rules. Those rules should be enforced to the best of that group's ability. In my younger years I was so feared that people were afraid to speak my name. That is a tough reputation to live down.
@JimDebones2 жыл бұрын
@Nordic Nation I used to ride a Harley Road King. Unfortunately, I had an accident on I-44 going to Oklahoma City. A truck driver hauling pipes didn't secure his load properly and a pipe fell off and lodge in my spokes. Wheels up at 75 mph is not something I would recommend to anyone. 8 weeks in the hospital, road rash from heel to the back of my head, and split helmet. Between the Military, and Murphy's Law I have been pretty messed up. I just got done with two hip surgeries. I'm looking at two knee replacements and the Doctor says that they are actually going to have to replace my hips in two years. About 3 weeks ago I almost bleed out from two bleeding ulcers. Goes to show you no matter how much of a bad ass you think you are it will catch up to you eventually. Whether it is the big Son of a bitch at the bar or the higher power someone will remind you that you aren't 10 foot tall and bullet proof. That being said I'm looking at either a custom bike or a Harley trike. If I do a custom I want it to look like a Female Skeleton in the Doggie position. One thing about me I give a 110% to any group I'm part of. If my Brothers and Sisters need me and I can't get there any other way I'll walk no matter how messed up I am.

After getting this info it feels like Nomads are the true heart of 1% MC. They don't claim territory, the whole world is their territory, they only answer to the brothers who are the most respected and they are the living version of the 1% statement. Always been interested in learning more about the 1% world having family in it I've always known my place to not ask questions bout what they do and what they about but you know always have that thought in your head "Yo whats so and so about what they do who they be what they life like". Don't think ill join a club just ride solo don't want to be stepping on no toes in my family you know.

Another awesome video man. I always imagined that the Nomad was a lonely lifestyle in the culture, but it sounds like they have their own brothers within the Nomad charter as well as getting more interaction with other brothers in the various charters within the state. Definitely sounds like a vital, and more demanding role to play in the life. I didn't see a video already out there on the page, but would you ever do a video that talks more about the day to day life (in your club at least) and what that's like? I know being 1% you can't get into all the details, but I wanted to know if it is truly as demanding as some make it out to be, or is it more chill and you just gotta handle the business every now and then? Keep up the good work man. I love seeing the notifications that a new video dropped. Head up, rubber down brother. #Ghostin #Cleveland #Independent

The nomad concept works different in each club. In military clubs, for example, it has a lot to do with the job for active duty club members. For example, a military club member on active duty may be a member in a chapter somewhere like Ft Drum, NY. Then the member gets assigned to Ft Jackson, South Carolina (where the club has no members) because the army has decided that he needs to be a drill sergeant there for 2 years, because its the army. That member is only going to be in SC for a couple of years, and he is going to be busy as hell doing army shit because drill sergeant is a very demanding job that takes a lot of time. So now there is a guy who is by himself- no other club members. He's working 20 hour days, so no time. And he's only going to be there a couple years anyway, so he won't be able to start a new chapter even if he did have the time. After that 2 years is up, he may go to another assignment where his club has people. But for the 2 years he is away, he becomes a nomad. It makes no sense to force the guy out of the club if he's a good member, and besides, he already got screwed by the military- and expecting him to make church at anywhere isn't realistic- he probably wouldn't be able to make church if it was at his OWN house, because some jobs in the military are that demanding.

Good to know how the MC community roles. I know people that have been or are affiliated with clubs. Interesting people. Good channel, great topics. Keep the rubber side down!

My neighbor is a Nomad in the Mongols. He was given the Nomad rocker on his 20th year with the club. Things seemed normal until he began holding Church at his house. It was his responsibility to bring this chapter back in line. He got them reorganized and in good standing. For this accomplishment he received a multitude of patches. My question is this. Why doesn't he wear his patches on the outside of his cut? He's got 40+/- patches sewn inside. The outside of his cut is normal, no excessive patches. He's a friend and I might ask him this weekend as we're going to the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show. I know his closest friend and he doesn't know why. Anyway, something for y'all to ponder.

This is confusing to me, living in Australia- we have an actual NOMAD OCC here, just like Hell's Angles, Coffin Cheaters, Banditos, Fink's and many others... They have a 3 patch insignia on the back indicating they are an outlaw club, just like the others. Here, as far as I'm aware there is no "Nomad" in any other clan, they are their own clan
@DemonsRow3 жыл бұрын
Nomads everywhere else in the world exist for this reason before the ckub hells angels have nomads out here along with alot ofclubs

1%ers started In the US WE set the standard no one cares what they do in Australia. Yes the nomads MC exist but long before that the angels and outlaws had nomads in their club that’s what sose was saying..

Some clubs use nomads to designate a member that's assumed a top brass position and can no longer be linked to a chapter because of conflict of interest in favoritism

Thanks for the shoutout Sosa my brother #ghostin I think I didn’t give enough context to what I meant about nomads not being elite. Gangland tried saying nomads are 1%er hitmen that kill without reason as a way to intimidate the public so in that sense I feel like they are wrong. They are elite just in a different way. Thanks again #weghostinbaby
