I’m currently a 12 yr old girl. I’m more than half way to 200 pounds, I’m 5’0 and I usually cover up at school because I don’t want anyone to make fun of me, but I’m not trying to change for them, I’m changing because I want to feel confident in my own body, and I feel like no young girl or boy should have to feel that way, they should be able to feel comfortable when walking in a classroom or down the halls, or anywhere, being fat isn’t a bad thing! Everyone makes people believe it is, once you hit puberty you start to get curves, for girls when your period starts you can gain a lot of weight, I have a friend who has gained 31 lbs because of her period, and she doesn’t eat bad, she actually eats really good and protein. Nobody’s ugly, we were just born in a judgmental society. And the people that make fun of you are just insecure as well, they want to fit in and act like they’re so perfect but they’re not, nobody’s perfect, God didn’t make anyone perfect. So I’m changing for me, I don’t eat healthy, and I don’t workout so that changes today. I’m going to be confident and keep pushing myself till I lose at least 30-40 pounds, I’m currently 145 lbs, and I’m going to lose all of this weight to get to at least 100 lbs. Anyone that is trying to lose weight or eat healthier, don’t lose Weight for anyone, lose it for yourself and if that’s what makes you confident go for it. ❤

Same here. I only lost weight when i allowed myself to rest and do low impact workouts. Walks are great for me aswell. I actually gained weight for more then 2 years and thought i had some sorte of illness because i was working out EVERYDAY while doing hiit workouts. Biggest mistake!!! My body was stressed and kept holding onto water.

When the workout complete flashed across the screen, I literally broke down and cried. I was so proud of myself for completing a 1 hour workout. I spent years complaining about being out of shape, being unhappy, and in turn emotionally eating. @@noi_drhdr4792 Thank you! My best recommendation would be to not focus too much on the scale in the beginning. I’m about 4 weeks in, I do a longer cardio videos like this one 3x a week, and strength training 2x a week using dumbbells and a strength training video. The scale itself has only changed a few pounds as I am also building muscle, but I can see a difference in the makeup of my body. I am losing a lot of weight in my stomach and arms just over this past month. And the biggest thing is eating habits. I watched my portions, didn’t have any heavy meals or large snacks after 9pm, drank a lot of water and cut back on my added sugars.

Jo, I'm crying as I'm writing this. I've struggled with PCOS ever since I was 15 years old and I constantly gained weight, no matter what I did, until I finally found out that walking was helping me more than these HIIT exercises! Thanks to your exercises, I've lost 5 cm of my hips, 3 cm of my waist, and 3cms off my thighs! I don't do them every day; sometimes I stick with your seating workouts, but no OTHER KZbinr motivates me like you do! your energy, your smile, I love it! thank you for changing my life, even if I'm just at the start of my journey

I had a big surgery/life threatening health problems 6 years ago and TODAY was the first day I could make it through an hour long workout. I am crying, I am so happy! I have been doing 10 minutes, 15, 20 here and there CONSISTENTLY, building my body back up and it pays off! I am 44, 6 children. It is never too late! Thank you JO! You inspire me to keep going!

I actually decided to do this workout just because I didn't believe your claim about burning over 400 kcal. Well, I completed it and burned 449 calories. 😂And just for reference, I'm 172 cm tall and weigh about 75 kg.

I have to say a huge thank you for these amazing workouts. I have struggled for YEARS and I mean yyeaarrss trying to lose my belly fat, more so after pregnancy in 2020. I have always been an active person, but struggled with hormone issues and belly fat. I was running and doing heavy lifting but I still struggled with fatigue, strength, belly fat, hormonal issues, and the list goes on. When I started doing your workouts and your workouts alone, well I do hike and walk here and there. But when I really started to focus on your workouts I started noticing so quickly the belly fat melting off, hormones regulating, fatigue diminishing, and omg I feel so much stronger. @Cannon Family I started doing her workouts last May and then I changed my diet last July using my fitness pal. I hit 50 lbs lost in March. I still have 10 more lbs to go. It didn't happen over night but Im glad I stuck with it.

@SARITA DAGAR I do a lot of her HITT workouts and workouts with weights. I love to run now because of her workouts. As far as diet, I use my fitness pal. I just try to make healthy choices, but if I want junk food, I have it. I just dont go crazy and I start the next day as if nothing happened...lol. I refused to quit this time. I hope this helps. Just remember you are worth it. You only have this one body, so cherish it through your journey.

@CeciliaDorch-zw8nn 3 months of any exercise then you’ll notice differences in your weight and body. You have to eat a calorie deficit though. Make sure you don’t skip breakfast, lunch, a snack, and dinner. Also eat something light before your workout like toast with a fruit or yogurt or something.

I could not stop praising God during this workout. I’m recovering from a toe surgery and have not been able to get much movement in for about 3 months. I’m so proud that I was able to complete the workout although I had to modify some of the movements, especially the burner at the end.. but I did it and my mood and energy is boosted. Thank God! Thank you so much Jo. So i tried this work out today and i want to be accountable to myself by posting a report here on a daily basis. From today, no bread or instant noodles. DAY 1- Stopped at 33:36 Waist 44, Hips 45 [I will check my measurements every 5 days] Day 2 - 44:03 Day 3- 15: 21 I am soooo tired today. Day 4- I completed the workout today. Yaaayyyy!! Thank God my sister joined me. Energy Level 💯 Day 5 - Completed with modifications WEIGH IN - Waist 43 , Hips 45 Day 6 - ❌❌❌ Day 7 - ❌❌❌ Day 8 - ❌❌❌ Day 9- 10 miniutes Hotel Abs done Sharika dance work out done. (I was bored of doing this, so i picked up other jo's workout) Day 10- 12 minutes morning fat burn work out and 10 minutes hotel abs work out done. Day 11- ❌❌❌ Day 12- ❌❌❌ Day 13- Morning workout and sit ups done Day 14- ❌❌❌ I am so reluctant to weigh because of my inconsistency but I have been doing intermittent fasting so I should just check my measurements today right?😂😂

I struggled with this workout at moments but kept pushing to the finish line! 620 calories burned, used ankle weights and hand weights alternating with 1lb, 3lbs and 5lbs! It was a challenge but I enjoyed it! Down 52 pounds since I started GrowWithJo in August and have 34 pounds to go! Thank you for this amazing workout!❤

I moved abroad 5 months ago and had to left behind my daily habits and gained a lot of weight. During this months I couldn't find the motivation to start doing exercise again but I found your account a week ago and now I'm soooo motivated to be healthy again!! I can’t believe I finished this workout. Granted I took some 1 min extra break but I refuse to quit. I modified some of the work out to my needs but I did it. First time in three months I was able to finish a 60 min work out. This is big for me. I was weighing in at 287 back in May. Had surgery in August had to take a break from working out. Got back in October and now I’m 258. Thank you JO. ❤

My first EVER 1 hour workout and I did it! I had to do some walking instead of what you were doing in between exercices otherwise I wouldn't have gone through the entire workout. I'm 246 pounds still so it's not easy but since I started 3 months ago, I feel my body's getting stronger and thinner. Good morning! I used to do your workout a year ago because I had 10kg to lose. Then I was pregnant with my wonderful little girl and I had issues during the pregnancy. I took 40kg... 😫 I gave birth prematurely and had hard time to move. I lost 10kg now and start again your workouts today. I am so motivated. I am still breastfeeding and don't sleep a lot but this work out really gave me energy for my day !! I am watching from France so sorry for the spelling mistakes. Thank you Jo !! ❤️

My first day and I killed it Proud of myself. My current weight is 76kg I will update you every week. Today 9th May ______ 76kg Today 16 may _______ 75kg not bad cause I did it 4 times this week .Will come and update in a week again Took a break but I'm back. 24th July, I only did 48min of the workout

I have been slacking since nov after working out every day for 6 months. It must of been the cold weather cause it’s spring and all of a sudden I got my energy back and I knocked this one out even though I haven’t done longer than 12m in 5 m. This one rocked will def be doing it again 🎉 congrats on 4M you are killing it And you changed my life. I have never been in this shape in my entire life after 3 babies I am more fit and weigh less more comfortable at 33 than I was even at 18 ❤

This gotta be the single workout of Jo that pushed me to my limits. Literally. I felt sick in between... By the end. But I pushed thru no matter what. Gave my full effort. Now I'm feeling emotional. Thinking about my one year old self who did all this workouts in hope of gaining confidence and feeling appreciated.

This workout is great! I like to do HIIT and cardio but I thought I’d do something different today. Let me say this was fun and 40 minutes in I did want to give up 😭 However, made it to the end and burned 400 calories! (For reference I weigh 123 lbs and I’m 5’0). I will definitely be doing this workout more often

Congratulations on 4 M subscribers. I’m new to the community 2 weeks old. I went too hard my first two workouts and sprained my arm. After a week off and some muscle relaxers, I’m back. I know I have to modify my workouts and keep moving. You are a breath of fresh air. Thank you and keep up the good work. This was an excellent workout.

I don't know if you gonna read this, but literally God sent you to save me from the depression I strarted to build for the last couple of days, I was feeling lost, I woke up today so late, feeling sick and dizzy like I'm falling apart, I want to change and break this negative cycle that is killing me slowly but I don't know how or where to start, and I prayed to God to help me with something to give me energy and re-start again. and then I had this idea to do a simple workout that consists of walking and other easy exercicesfor exactly 1 hour. And guess what the first person that came to my mind was YOU JO !! I searched and I found this new workout of yours for exactely 1 Hour OMG !! And tought this is it! and I completed it with so much joy and energy! 2,5 year i'm a big fan of yours! I live in the Netherlands and i'm 12 weeks postpartum now of my second child. This workout is really amazing! Just what I needed today been doing you're workouts everyday since December. Get up b4 the kids and it's bliss this week was starting to slump but woke up to this ❤. I just did this workout for the first time today and it was a great, intense workout. Really love Flo because you can see the progress she has made with her weight and it encourages me to keep at it.
