When I finished this workout I sat down and cried because this is the first workout I completed. I thought about giving up but I pushed through and I was just so proud of myself. I haven't taken my measurements yet but the difference in the mirror is already so big, I'm very excited to see more results 🥺💖

When I started these workouts in May 2023, I weighed 198 pounds, and I was wearing size 16 pants. As of January 2024, I am currently 165 pounds and wearing size 10 pants, thanks to doing these workouts and maintaining a calorie deficit. I'm so grateful for these videos! Thanks Jo!

@@deniz-id1bh I would assume that they haven't lost a lot of weight yet. Weight loss takes time and it usually takes a few weeks to see any results! But if you keep going and eat a healthy diet you will get there eventually.

But then I realized that even the calories I burn during the same exercise change. It varies depending on your energy that day, your current weight, and your general activity level. do not give up!

Update: 10Aug2022 - so since my last update at 81kg. I have only lost 1 kg BUT I see a lot of body changes. I now have a waist and I have dropped from dress size 16 now to large cut 12. 14 is definitely too big. I have definition in my legs and bum too - no more flat bum. I’m really loving my new body and determined to keep going. I’m doing GWJ daily consistently. I love the workouts and I could just get straight in from months of not moving. I’ll be tracking my two week progress here to motivate someone 🤗Stats Female 5’2 Day 1 (25May2022) - 88.4 kg Day 2 (26May2022) - 88.0 kg Day 3 (27May2022) - 87.2 kg Day 4 (28May2022) - 86.9 kg Day 5 (29May2022) - 85.8 kg Day 6 (30May2022) - 85.5 kg Day 7 (31May2022) - 85.3 kg Day 8 (01Jun2022) - 85.1 kg Day 9 (02Jun2022) - 84.9 kg Day 10 (03Jun2022) - 84.9 kg Day 11 (04Jun2022) - 84.8 kg Day 12 (05Jun2022) - it was Sunday guys I forgot to weigh myself 🤭 Day 13 (06Jun2022) - 84.3 kg Day 14 (07Jun2022) - 83.7 kg And there we have it, I have lost a healthy 4.7 kg in two weeks just by moving at least an hour a day, cutting back sugar and drinking more water! Before starting 5'7 64kg DAY1: 64kg DAY 2: 62.80kg (bloating gone) DAY 3: 62.45 kg DAY 4: 62.20 kg (just walked) DAY 5: 61.90 kg DAY 6: 61.65 kg DAY 7: 61.45 kg ( had a cheat day 😭😭) DAY 8: 61.60 kg( no workout yesterday) DAY 9: 61.45 kg DAY 10: 61.05 kg( had chocolate+ no workout) I completely screwed my diet today 😭😭 I don't think I'll ever be able to complete this and lose weight I feel guilty and devastated

You just started, I'd agree with the above reply and I'd say continue too. These setbacks will happen, but don't let that change your fitness goals. Besides, given your height, you don't really need to lose weight, so keep the primary goal to improve your fitness. In your diet, have a sweet treat or incorporate some things you are not able to give up what-so-ever so you don't have these cheat days.

It's crazy to me how you lost like 3 kgs in 10 days for me it took like a whole damn month to lose 4 kgs and my 2nd month has ended yet that's the only progress I had even when I didn't eat unhealthy I'd say you're way luckier than me and here you are feeling devastated even though u got a heck lot of hope to continue cuz I mean look at me 💀

Day 1 you started at 64kg and day 10, 61kg… that’s a big difference. Dont give up! It’s ok to cave in every once in a while and indulge. We’re only human. Perfection doesn’t exist. I hope this helps. But never give up on yourself :) it’s OK to have off days. You’re doing great!

I’m 50 and did not have healthy role models to groom me to live a healthy life beyond my younger years. A lot of my older family have tons of health conditions with poor mobility. As a nurse I’ve seen older adults thriving in their 70’s, 80’s and 90’s so I know it possible to age gracefully still full of life with the ability to move with agility. Girlllllllllllll i am sweating!!!! I am trying to loose weight but it's hard to find a workout that is knee friendly but still burns, this one is a masterpiece. I burned all in all 1006kcal and active 788 kcal. I am feeling exhausted but sooooooo proud. After 45 min I wanted to stop but your laugh kept me going. @@bercemkoc Your actual calorie burn is going to depend on your intensity and your weight. If you enjoy following growwithjo workouts, just be consistent with the workouts, drink plenty of water, and eat balanced meals while limiting processed foods. You'll make progress :)

(22/01/22): These are honestly the only workouts I can commit to, I have been doing them for 3 weeks now and there is such a huge difference. I went from 73kg to 68kg ( 5kg or 11lbs down) , it's so worth it! Update (13/02/22): I am now at 64 kg! Everyone has noticed the weight loss and I'm getting so many compliments, keep going guys! Also I recommend the 3 day egg diet if you're stuck at a certain weight or want a head start but only take walks or do light activity during this.

I have been depressed since the beginning of the year and had a boat load of panic attacks. I actually still have recurring depression and attacks but, really this video is helping me forget it an hour a day. I don't have friends and you, Jo really help me. I did this workout for 7 days straight and I lost 3 pounds this week. For about 2 months I was going to the gym for an hour but not focusing on cardio; I was probably doing about 15-20 min of cardio then going to weights and 20 min of mat exercises. THIS IS THE VIDEO! I started doing her work outs on the 13 of January this year Starting Weight:150 Goal weight:130 ( it’s hard for me to loose weight on medication that makes it hard to loose weight and I’m short 5’1 😢) 1-13=149.8(did 20 minute fat burn) 1-14=147.8(did this one ) 1-15=( got stomach bug :( ) 1-16=(got worse) 146.6lbs(try exercising tomorrow) ( ok I fell sick I’m doing better now so I’m updating tonight ) ( gained weight again.. weight tonight = 150.0) 2-9= 150( did the 1 mile walk and drink green tea) 2-10=148.6 ( the green tea helps 😭) 2-11=( went on trip) 2-12=(went on trip) 2-13=(went on trip) 2-14=149( doing the 5mile intense rip to me 😂 keep me motivated guys Just finished this it works if you listen to your own music I sweated so much and make sure you drink green tea it helps :) stay tuned for tomorrow guys see how much I lost !!) 2-15=150 (I did eat something sweet lol but I be doing 5mile walk again :3 and no more sweets for me lol😂 ) ( I tried the10000 steps only did 20 minutes I couldn’t do it lol I died …. I miscarried twice and I gained weight due to eating crap. I was trying to forget about my pain, eating tones of chocolate and crisps. So after that, I was still sad and on top of it fat. I started working out and I found your channel ❤ you make me feel so motivated and I feel like you are my friend when working out with you. WOW. I told myself "just make it half way" and you can do the full workout another day, but at the midway point the voice in my head told me to keep going, and I can't believe I did! It was so much fun. Ended up doing 5.37 miles, burned 746 calories with an average of 12 mins 41 secs per mile! Thank you so much Jo!

@@paulinegrant7205 Sometimes it depends on your tracker and how tight it is. I had a tracker whose bpm went down when my heart was racing and went up at rest. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The amount of energy you put in may make it vary as well. Jo is bouncing and dancing, which may translate better tracker- wise

Finished it for 1st time, 1st try and cried. I only set out to do 20mins of it but just carried on saying, ‘I’ll just do the next set’. 11kg’s lost in 3 months. Slowly but surely. Half way there, sleeping better, more energy,blood pressure going down. Healthier eating, cooking myself, less salt and no junk or alcohol. I am taking it 1 day at a time…but reading these comments encourages me for sure❤️🙏🏽👍🏽

Steps: 10,101 Miles: 5.8 Total Cal: 901 Active Cal: 789 (Note: I put my watch on CARDIO so I could track my heart rate - my goal was to keep it over 160 bpm) THANK YOU JO!!! Y’all this workout was AHHHHMAZING! My workout info: Height: 5’8 Weight: 153 BMI: 24 You tubers are limited as far as the music they can use (copyright) so I put on my own New Orleans Bounce playlist. I sped up for a few moves and slowed down for a few others. I used my 3lb weights for a couple too. Some of the moves I couldn’t do because I have a partially torn left rotator cuff. Final thoughts: if you have 80 minutes and want to get a low impact full body workout - DO THIS! Thanks again JO!!! ❤️❤️❤️

@@BishimDeja did you set up your watch completely? once set up the activity app should track steps on all apple watch models, but if its not displayed on the watch you have to view your steps via the activity app. Also if you cant see the steps on the watch face and you want to you can download a step counter to your watch.

Done. Starting a new routine. 5 mile cardio in the morning, weight training in the evening. Hope this change will make a difference. I broke the plateau of 148lbs. I dropped 1 lb making it a total of 22lbs. Getting closer to my goal. Praise God!

@jazxvvv it could be alot of things. Are you counting calories in everything you're ingesting to make sure you're in a deficit? You need to be in a deficit in order to lose weight. If you're exercising and still over eating, you're not going to see that scale go down. Are you hydrating properly and not overdoing the salt and highly processed garbage (fast food, eating out, frozen meals, etc)? If not, you could be retaining water which will cause your weight to go up. When are you weighing yourself? It should be right when you wake up, before you have anything to eat or drink and after you used the bathroom. If not, you aren't getting accurate results. Do you drink alcohol regularly? It causes inflammation in your body and can ruin your gains and is very high in calories. If you're doing everything right and not seeing any changes, it could be a hormone issue. You may need your thyroid checked. If that's fine, then you may just need to stick to it longer to actually see results start coming in. Sometimes it takes awhile before you see any changes or improvement.

So I’ve been doing this workout everyday for 5 days straight (today is my 6th day) and in just 5 days, I lost 13 pounds. I’m also in a caloric deficit and I am intermittent fasting! I eat between 12pm until 8pm and after 8pm, I only drink water or my tea that helps with my PCOS. I eat very clean meals, smoothies, big fruit and veggie salads or big veggie salads, nuts, and I drink LOTS of water. I take an Apple cider shot on an empty stomach in the morning for blood sugar control. I made sure I was burning more calories than I was eating. I have PCOS, so it’s usually hard for women with PCOS to lose weight but the weight has been dropping. If you’re reading this, you got this! Keep going❤️ Thank you Jo 💫

This isn't sustainable fam; slow and steady is the best way for long term results. Fasting, and restricting and heavy cardio isn't healthy...

This is not healthy. To get muscle you need to eat at least 1700-2000 calories. Loose skin happens with only cardio and eat plenty of protein. Weight will drop, but muscle will be hard to attain.

Okay good job and I'm so proud of you but I feel like 13 pounds in under a week is way too much to be losing. A healthy amount to lose each week is about 2.5 to 3 pounds according to my doctor.

OH MY GOD!! this workout will make you sweat like crazy. i know this video is pretty old but when i saw it i knew i had to do this. i'm relatively young so i could finish the video on day 1 but it was not easy. i wanted to stop midway but i continued by telling my self 'its fine it's just few more mins'. im hoping to lose weight and become healthier and happier. will do this every day except 1 day. guysss make sure to stay hydrated and don't over do it! Don't forget people be consistent , do it with a smile , be hydrated and if you are sick or injured take a rest ❤❤

So, yesterday (tuesday), I waked 3 miles of this workout. Then stopped and continued again until I got 5.80 miles. I burned 900 calories. Thanks for all Jo!

Just did this workout and burned 800 calories and did about 7500 steps! It honestly didn’t even feel like an hour workout because I was having fun! There are definitely intense parts where I was like OMG can I finish this!? But I did and I loved it. I’m a young mom of two little kids and I have done countless workout programs before. I usually just quit or don’t want to do them anymore because they are just so structured and strict. But these are my absolute favorites workouts I have ever done! I am always motivated and I actually enjoy doing them. It doesn’t feel like a chore or like.. ugh I have to do this. Thanks so much for motivating me to be healthy and strong for myself and my kids ❤️

Okay, I decided to share my results too. I've been working out with Jo for almost two months now. I started on August 26, and I was 101. The first week was the most terrible, my whole body ached and hurt (although I tried to do exercises for beginners), but I still got up and did an hour of exercises every day. From the second week I felt that my body was already getting stronger at this stage. So I increased time by another half an hour. I also chose a day or two for my body to rest a little. And honestly? I started training initially for only one purpose - to lose weight. But soon I realized that it's better to focus on getting your muscles stronger, so that your immunity improves. And it helped me not only to lose weight, but also to start treating my body with care, like a best friend. After the third week, I started doing workouts with Jo for two hours a day, and so that my muscles wouldn't ache so much, I started doing some cool down and stuff like that. To sum up, here are my results for 1.5 months: -6, 4 kg !upd: it's been 2.5 months -8 kg (and now im 93 yyay) I was 101, but now 93. I know that someone might say that this is a small result, but I am very proud of myself. Now I feel stronger than before, more confident in myself. I will continue to work on myself to become healthier and stronger. !Thank you so much Jo, you're the best!

Thats insane! Trust me being 101 and going to 94 is insane too. It takes people weeks to lose one pound and up to months to lose as much as you did. That's about 7 pounds you lost. You are doing great:) stay positive

I was 27 minutes into this workout and my mind kept telling me that i couldn't complete it and that i had to give up. I always say this but this was the most CHALLENGING one yet!! Yet, SO FUN!!! Im in week 4 of working out with Jo and Ive started to see my weight drop finally!! i have less aches and pains in my legs and I just feel so great and happy that I accomplished and finished this. This past year has been such a roller coaster. From being a healthy dancer and sports person, to suffering severe weight loss due to an eating disorder, and now going through a healing journey that made me gain weight becoming heavier than I used to be pre-ED. I must admit, being heavy feels very frustrating... *I just recently ran upon this video and I am very much so happy. I begin doing the exercises and stopped at **30:09** to go use the restroom and get a water break. I didn’t break when she took her break. I kept marching. I am trying to lose weight before my birth July 28th. I am currently 294.7. My birthday weight goal is 215 and once I get to 215 my final weight goal is 170. I will keep doing these exercises daily until I reach my final goal weight. I only did this for a week, but the results are very beautiful! My waist changed 360 degrees along with my arms and thighs. I looked at myself in the mirror and spent five minutes looking at my body in shock. This workout The best! Thus my weight became 52 I lost approximately 7 kilo with this exercise I highly recommend it. But of course you must follow a diet. Stay away from sugars, sweets and all kinds of soft drinks Try to eat one meal a day In a reasonable quantity You will notice a huge difference in just a week

Hello Jo, I want to give you a big Thank you. You can't imagine how I'm struggling with anxiety and depression. Yesterday I have been in my bed all day long thinking about I don't want to do nothing. Today I picked up all the effort I had left after find this video and I starrted thing on I was going to complete max. 10 minutes with lots of luck. I started thinking on I'm not capable to do this and with even imagine it, I checked the timing and it was going 15 min, so I said well, as I even noticed I'll do 5 min more. The more the video was advancing, the more I started to think "well, this is not so hard for me to do as I thought", so went 30 min of video, then I started to think "maybe after finishing I can take a shower and get dressed for a coffee". without even noticed I started to have positive thoughts. Mi mood completely changed. I really want to give you a big Thank you for crossing on my path. You changed my day.

2 summers ago i did this workout everyday/ every second day with resistance bands and a waist trainer while crying. I love this workout, it helped me get through big parts of my depression, I fell off for a man that left me on my birthday. I will be starting this workout again to gain confidence. Love y'all!! 🙌💜

Did this on Sunday i got 735. Today Tuesday I came back for revenge! I had my plastic suit on and ran during all the walking sections! I'm pleased to say I got 803 calories! I won!

During the lockdowns I became very weak. My steps were sometimes 157 for the entire week which was going to the bathroom and maybe the fridge to eat (I am 54, overweight, mother of five, full time PhD student). My core was weak. I found these videos and I tried to do it the first day stopping every few minutes and restarting. Someone in the comments said if you cannot do the exercises then at least walk in place and so I did. The first day I shocked myself but I also gained confidence that with commitment I could increase daily. Sometimes I had to get up every 15 minutes just to get in a few hundred steps and rest again to reach my goal. It took several hours. In approximately 2 weeks, I reached 8000 steps on one day. I have walked in place to the videos daily for a month now and my breaks are lessening (1-2 mins every 500 steps due to my heart rate going above my max), and the steps are increasing and I have lost 36 lbs, half of it in the last month with the videos (I also have followed a keto diet for 2 years). I also began weight lifting and train 3 times a week now. I share this to encourage everyone to just begin and commit and do as much as you can and you will get stronger mentally, physically and emotionally (I cried when I hit my first 5000 steps because I did not think I could do it).

Her hafta üç dört kez mutlaka yapıyorum. 600 kalorilik abs videosu, sabah antrenman videosu ve bu videoyu yapiyorum.Diyetle beraber yapıldığında gerçekten gözle görülür fark oluyor. Pes etmezsek istediğimiz kiloya düşeriz eminim 💥💃

I just finished this workout and when I tell you my clothes are SOAKED!! It literally looks like I splashed a big bucket of water on myself. Please can someone like this comment so I am motivated to this beautiful exercise every day I was a fat kid from child hood and I tried many exercises but nothing works I hope this does and I can finally feel proud of my health and body my current weight is 71 kg goal weight 45 kg height 169 cm day 1: completed Day 2: completed Day 3 : completed Day 4: completed Day 5: completed I could do not the exercise for past week due to exams but I am starting again my weight had decreased to 69.5 kg and I am surprised coz I didn’t do any exercise this week day 1(again starting) complete My weight : 67 kg
