My two friends recently started playing HK bcs I told them it's really good game. They are about 3 hours or so into the game so I ask them where are they and how do they like it. They were still in the very early parts of the game despite 3 hours of playing. (The middle of greenpath if I am correct) So I ask them what did they do that it took them so long, and one of them answers: "I dont know about viktor but I just stood in one place for like a half of an hour just bcs I wanted to listen to the background music." It took just over 100 hours for my first game completion. Not just because I sucked, but because I wished to do everything in the game, explore and find all the secrets and do the hardest challenges. I would also experiment and walk from a side of the map to the other just to see if I could do something. I abstained myself from ever watching a video tutorial or reading the wiki. I talked to every single NPC that I'd find, trying to see if they have something new to say. I'd attack every crack in the wall or even those without to see if there are any secrets, and check out all the dark spots on the map. I did not want to enter the Hollow Knight's chamber because I feared that the game would end. Hollow Knight is one of my favorite games, ever.
