I would try a sip of pickle soda to see how it tasted (I'll try anything edible, I don't care if it tastes bad, I just want the experience, I'm not picky), but I wouldn't dirty my own soda stream to do it. Technically it says to never carbonate anything in the bottle, you need to carbonate water and then flavor it accordingly, that CO2 nozzle isn't that easy to clean out if there's backwash, it's in the owner's manual. On a related note, I have had cucumber soda (an older brand called Mr. Q Cumber), and it's pretty good. It's like watermelon soda but a little less sweet. And I prefer cucumber to sweeter melons anyway. It's like really refreshing especially in summer time.
