Michelle, a beautiful constructed hypnotic story. You are so descriptive, I’ve never found my cabin in the snow, but you do take me there to that cabin. Snow is magical, dusk or moonlight, walking down country lanes, the landscape so bright, the Milky Way stretching across the endless sky. Everything so quiet, distant lights, but alas no cabin. Thank you for your posts and videos, I rarely comment on other people’s sites. But with you Michelle, it’s like writing to a friend, who completely understands what we all experience in life.

Posting the morning after watching... I honestly don't remember a lot of the details of this story, as I must have started dozing. The imagery at the beginning regarding the road out of town was really beautiful. I really like all of the vocabulary you used for the colours of the leaves. We actually did get a fresh blanket of snow yesterday, and I appreciated the descriptions of the feel and sound of the snow. The only thing I can suggest is that it would help if you could be more explicit in giving us permission to drift off to sleep whenever we need to.. that really helps for me. Thanks Michelle for another great story!

Maybe in our waking lives, we don't have everything we want just yet. But we spend a third of our lives asleep (hopefully!) and we can architect and design whatever dreamscape we desire. And personally, I desire an A-Frame cabin. It is from that personal dream that I designed this sleep story and meditation so you may escape into a mental vacation and your own refuge tonight!

Our waking lives? Would I change anything from being born to what’s defined my life to today? Travel back several years and marry that special girl I once briefly knew? An ideal life that really only exists in my dreams. That is why we treasure dreams, they take you on endless adventures, meeting friends, strangers. Sometimes an incomprehensible mixture set in a strange landscape, others with literally the girl of my dreams. But Michelle all my myriad dreams are compressed into 5 or 6 hours at best, rarely do I experience that 8 hours of dreamland heaven.

Hi Michelle, how do I get by on 5 or 6 hours sleep each night? Sometimes it’s even less. Recently 37hrs without sleep, and the secret of not falling asleep while killing time for an important appointment? Keep talking and don’t drive far! Two days ago, 3hrs sleep, then driving around Eastern England visiting friends. Then I just psyched myself up to banish any tiredness. But once late night arrives, the roads mostly to myself, then I come alive and could drive forever. Just a different world until dawns early light. Sometimes I do envy people that drift away for 8hrs. Seems you have fun dog Michelle!
