As I read this chapter, I thought about the many things that I’ve made gods out of by putting them before the ONE TRUE GOD and spending more time with than with HIM. These things come in subtly and can seem innocent. This chapter made me repent, ask the LORD for forgiveness and also ask Him to keep me conscious of ever doing that again!

bᵊṯûlâ appears 38x as virgin in the Tanakh. 5x in Isaiah Isa 23:4,12 Isa 37:22 Isa 47:1 Isa 62:5 All these describe an actual virgin and the Hebrew word used is bᵊṯûlâ. So how does Isaiah 7:14 pertain to christ? Isa 7:14 ¹⁴Therefore 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 HIMSELF shall give you a sign; behold, a 👉🏿virgin👈🏿 shall conceive in the womb, and shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Emmanuel.
