I am working as bank officer since 2016 and is connected with you since 2017. I also thought of leaving job. But, still unable to do. Even yesterday, I was threatened by my bank customer that he will see me out of my workplace just because he was not receiving bank SMS. He didn't made any written request for that to me or my seniors. I could have filed a police complaint,but I know he is from local area and I am far from my hometown. By money or influence, police will also support him and I will get disturbed. Moreover, my bank staff or top management will not support at large as they don't want to mired in legal complications.As prelims exam is near, I do not want to have mental unrest. Sir govt MSP kuch fix time period k liye de farmers ko like 5-10 years, and isi duration me govt me tehsil level pr cold and simple storage ki facility available karwaye farmers ko,,taki farmers ko apni fasal ki distress selling na krani pde,, demand and supply k hisab se farmers apni fasal ko apni marji se beche jb unhe market me sahi price mil Raha ho,, isse farmers ek time periods k bad khud hi businessman me convert ho jayenge or hmare farmers ki mentality commercial ho jayegi,, jiske bad micro level pr un storage k side me food processing ki industry lgayi Jaa skti h, farmers society bna kr,,jisse unki fasal processed hoke market me bikegi or unko jyada benefit hoga,, govt usme kuch value addition krwa k unke processed food products ko export b kar skti h. Ye lambi process h lekin mere hisab se yahi ek sabse acha solution h jisse farmers govt pr depend b nahi rahenge,, deep industrialisation b ho jayega,, or jo har sal krib 14 billion dollar ka grain hmara waste ho jata h wo b nahi hoga. MSP related opinion : Government should give MSP on diverse crops to limited number of Crops whenever needed ( need should examine considering economical,environmental, social all aspects)....legalizing MSP will not good in long run..Because Farmaers even don't know all the future consequences of this legalization of MSP ....someone/ any institution should convince Farmers :"that legalization of MSP will not solve Farmer's real problems ... Responsible authorities should examine all aspect of legalization benefits ..but in my opinion Legalization of MSP will not be the best solution... There should be a separate wing of Government to study almost 80% of poor Farmer's problems and accordingly to that real solutions ,real planning, robust execution should be done..e.g.the most importantly Farmer's need a realization of who the are,they are the most important Producers of this world 🌎..then important information / basic knowledge regarding Farming and how to earn best through Farmig should be given. Then 3rd essential thing is Farming oriented infrastructure: cold storage ,small office(of 1 perdon ) to just interact with Farmer's and guide then properly at local level

The condition of small farmers is much worse than it is discussed in the newspapers, at every step they are cheated, overlooked and crushed. When they buy seeds, fertilizer or pesticides etc... it is mostly overpriced (in some cases more than MRP, yes and they have to buy it because they don't know how to deal with it) then they go in their fields where they are often pressurized by big fish( big farmers often try to encroach upon their lands or put them at the last when their fields need watering etc. etc.) and anyhow they dare to grow their crop, they are forced to sell to local traders (as the transportation cost to the main market or mandis may consume their total output), who will buy their crop below than the MSP announced by the government and use the erroneous weighing to take out a cut from that too... After all this they receive the money in which they have to look after their family, give education (which is also being out of reach except the third grade govt schools) to their children and bear the cost of daughter's marriage (obviously with a heavy loan) and so on... After that when these children grow up they have to compete with the students who have been passed out from premium institutes and some (approx 1 in 1000) may come out of this cycle and others repeat the same cycle that their families have gone through.... Yeah so this is the dark reality of agriculture, and I know this because I am one of them trying to break this cycle and I see lacs of them around me...😊

MSP shouldn't be legalized as we are already facing problems in WTO because our PDS system falls under Amber box and of the Doha agreement gets finalized and India has legalized MSP by then , India can face sanctions because of it and it might be a great catastrophe for our developing economic

MSP should be legalized until there is a proper honest Market mindset to save the small farmers so that against the odds they can atleast sell their produce in MSP ... But there should be inaugration of more fruitful practices where farmers doesn't have to depend upon MSP in the future.

Legalizing MSP will have very adverse affect on soil health particularly in Punjab and Haryana. Since green revolution, paddy and wheat are being focused by the then governments and the large farmers. Irrigation facility is good near rivers and canals but use of tubewells in other areas causing stress on fresh water. It will not only effect human beings but also desertify the soil. Government and farmers should focus more on sustainable farming techniques and try to address this issue as soon as possible.

I think to legalise MSP is not a viable solution instead other alternative can be developed like in MP bhavantar bhugtan yojna to make MSP effective
