I really like the thought of this kind of a last man standing event. Like that one guy mentioned us slow guys don't get to rest much at all in a regular Backyard Ultra style event, so this kind of levels the playing field a little. I've only done a single Backyard style event which was capped to 8 laps, I was among the last to come in every lap, but I finished all of the laps. It was an eye opener and confidence booster to see that a lot of the fitter, faster, better trained guys threw in the towel ahead of me. It made me think I am stronger mentally then I give myself credit for.

Thank you for posting this video. Don’t know why but I found this truly inspirational. Please continue with these great running videos. I’m starting to use your videos for my runs. Don’t know if I will ever get to where these runners are at due to my age and body type but I will continue to try. Thanks again for this video👍

I know this is an old post but I'm training for a similar last man standing event in Georgia. My preference is to alternate 1 minute of jogging and 1 minute of walking. This puts me at about a 12 minute mile which gives me 3 minutes to eat, drink, use the restroom, and rest.
