Plus it is reliable and very liveable, perfectly fit as a daily driver which sets its apart from its italian and german made peers of the segment indeed. the price/performance ratio is unparalleled. 👍🏻

I bought mine right around the same time you bought yours, except I'm an idiot. 2012 manual base model in white for $28,999 with 34k miles. I get it home and within the first month I have to replace the entire front of the motor. The harmonic balancer was drilling it's way into the timing cover and almost fucked up my entire engine. New timing cover, crank, water pump, idler pulley, serpentine belt and ac belt later and I finally have a car I can feel good about. I traded in a perfectly good Mustang Ecoboost that was heavily modded for this car, so I was shitting myself for a month trying to fix all this. But the last month has been smooth sailing and the car has been amazing.

@The98deville that’s what I thought I was getting. The description said “rebuilt engine” so I thought it was stock. But it’s a fully built engine so. I was so confused when I heard it had a cam when I met up with the guy

To me, the door handles are less of an issue than the skip shift feature. The elimination link takes care of it.

Has long as you drive it daily the battery issue shouldn't be a problem. But once it sits it will drain the battery. It's designed that way.

I was going to disconnect the battery to try to be able to use it next year. Would that work?

I heard if you go into your fuse box and take out the fuse that goes to the OnStat that will help a ton too!

Dude the door handles are so unique how can u hate that? Killer idea. Wide body rear. Narrow front like the base coupe front you have. That would be unique and killer. C6 is the greatest vette of ALL time!

It can just get annoying opening them. I’d rather just have a traditional door handle like the c5 lol. And I was thinking that about having only a wide body rear. I’m going to see how it looks and then go from there

Base or a z06 I can’t chose I need help. I like the option of having the targa top and the automatic

There’s a trim level called “Grand sport” where you can get an automatic transmission and the Z06 differential. People also say the 6.2engine is more reliable than the 7.0 Z06

Should have bought a c4 instead. I absolutely love my 1990 black on black convertible. And mine has the same wheels as your's.. looks killer and I've had no major issues. Give it a little time you might change your mind about the little things you dislike about it. Welcome to the corvette club my friend.
