@@BhuvansLife There's 5 things that are veg in the list, that's beyond the representation of the demographics in Kerala of 97% of being non veg and 3% of being vegetarian. Additionally there are non veg items listed alongside with veg items. For example appam and chicken isthu (appam is veg), the rice and flavouring agents in Biryani are veg, meen polichatu (the spices are veg alongside the banana leaf), parotta is veg, fish cutlets(the breading and potatoes are veg), also for most of the dishes you will need to have a veg as an accompanying option which is rice.

Its a very strict observance during this pilgrimage and there are few who will only live on alms during this time.
