No situation deserves our stress, no person deserves our depression. We owe it to ourselves to be happy free and liberated, inside and out.

It is hard to be happy and free when we do not have basic Maslow needs met - and no resources, tools or support to get them met.

This helped me SOOOO much! I'm going to watch it again and take notes so the points that helped me the most will stick in my mind. I'm so deeply grateful for all the amazing information and wisdom Dr. Kennedy provided! I truly feel a deep sense of healing already; just from listening, and I feel when I get started applying his advice it will be transformative! Thank you both for this discussion! ☺️💝🙏

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really loved him so much I can’t stop thinking about him, I’ve tried my very best to get him back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of him, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss him and just can’t stop thinking about him

its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldnt just let him go i did all i could to get him back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring him back.

Your work is amazing!! (Thank you for what you on this channel of yours!) And so is Dr. Kennedy’s. I’ve been following his stuff for years since I have anxiety-or alarm as he calls it-too. When I say his work is life changing, I’m not exaggerating! Nothing else I’ve tried has worked like this does. I appreciate your channel! Please keep up the great work! P.S. Please disregard this if you’ve already interviewed these two men. I just may not be remembering if you have interviewed them. Can you interview both Doug Noll and Robin Dreeke. Their work has also had a tremendous impact on my life! Doug’s Book: De-escalate: How To Calm An Angry Person in 90 Seconds or Less. What he teaches is all backed by neuroscience and isn’t taught anywhere else. Robin Dreeke’s Book: The Code of Trust. He has other books as well, which are as equally as outstanding!

"Can you just feel alarm? Can you just sit with the alarm and allow yourself to feel it? It's when you add thoughts to it, that's when is become runaway train. That's when it becomes impossible to manage. Like having fire and keep throwing matches on it. Matches are your thoughts. Biggest tip I give to people - if you can learn to feel the alarm in your body, anxiety, without compulsively adding thoughts to it, eventually you metabolize this fear." This is why social anxiety is ongoing. Toxic introject keep us solving drama - and hence being unable to pause and check what is happening in the first place. And toxic people also push us into worry and hysteria with punishment and yelling. Coercive control. Toxic people being defined as: Impatient people who feel entitled to manipulate and control others. This is why CBT Exposure doesn't work. "It was exposure therapy for me, more I did the less stuff bothered me. I stopped getting physically responsive to the anxiety. - What you're describing is operant conditioning. And then Extinction: once stimulus doesn't create the same level of stress in your system anymore. When we get into survival panic mode, the part of our rational thinking mind gets shut off, evolutionary running from predator. We lose our ability to be rational." Exactly. With social anxiety- there are real predators that harm us. This is what CBT does not perceive. That there are psychopaths in managerial seats, toxic people in some kind of power dynamics - where we are being abused - and the only alternative is to lose job or relocate from toxic ambient and become homeless and starve to death or being beaten up in the streets by cops or hooligans. Toxic people yell scream push force us to feel ashamed for mistakes flaws, put us down over and over again, it is humiliating and it becomes our identity - someone who is bad because we can't perform perfectly as abnormal people have fantasy about how life should look like in their fantasy minds - and then they get hysterical when reality bites them and lash out on us 24/7. So this using emotion instead of logic and words makes sense. My toxic introject would tell me that finding something neutral and positive - is cheating and that I am not allowed to do that, that I will taint and destroy anything that I touch - so it is better to freeze. This is why any time I would get triggered I would have amnesia and re-discover things that I like over and over again as if it is for the first time, and this is time consuming, I would be in state of depression for months until I re-discover what I like once again. My toxic introject tells me that I must worry and find solutions and be focused on solving other people's moods and fix their problems in order to feel safe when I succeed in fixing them - which is ongoing drama with toxic people who invent new complaints and problems every 5 minutes.

I disagree in regards to him bringing up about people who are worried that they may have Alzheimer’s. I’ve known number of people that are experiencing memory loss, and in discovery indeed had Alzheimer’s if you don’t know you have Alzheimer’s and you do” 👉🏼you’re probably too far advanced. As iv worked with Alz. Patients for years.
