He'll always be the best frontman in Metal to me. I've had the honour of meeting him a coupla times; the first time was back in '86 in London, and as much as he's chilled somewhat, he's still the same as he was back then - honest, sincere and just a pleasure to talk to. And he's what keeps Metallica together. They'd be finished without him. Yeah, top guy! 🤘🏻😎

Because he is a quite smart person and true to himself no matter what. Acting and talking like a rock star would've been pretentious for him. Don't forget he grew up as a musician in an era when bands like Poison had this poser attitude and MetallicA has always been on the opposite side of that.

Lol while James is starting to show his age, when he laughs and smiles, the look on his face is still the same as when he was like 22 or 23. When he does that I just imagine him in 1984, long hair, goofing off. He's still a big kid inside.
