First!! Hey Robo I got into the game through your channel, I can't seem to get out of intermediate. I mainly play fixed and progressive capital (meta settings) but it seems like every time I think I have the advantage and control a largish portion of the map I get teamed on by all the other players. How do you know when you can start becoming aggressive and taking territories so this doesn't happen?

I'm happy to hear you got into the game after checking out the videos! It is difficult to balance when to expand and when to chill (to avoid making enemies). I would say with Risk Meta settings i first evaluate how dominant my open is. Because if you can just bully people out of the game with an insane amount of troops in the open, then problem solved. This ideally is a targeted approach per player (chaining kills), rather than slamming everyone at once and making everyone hate you. But if you are unable to steamroll the whole lobby with an insane open, I recommend evaluating how to draw borders and make friends so then you can target down other people individually to make kills and progress the game. Let's say you border someone going for russia and you are the orient player - if the chances of killing the russia player are slim, you may be better off fist bumping and expanding the other way (rather than trying to expand everywhere including into them and making an enemy). Then if you get massive later, that "alliance" goes a long way as russia player remembers you didnt break them, and now you can target other players and have an ally in the 3 player end game. If you are expanding to be massive and everyone is turning on you, you may not be chaining kills effectively. You can't get super massive and leave everyone alive - you must explode at the right time to kill-set-kill-set. Each turn always consider a.) who is weak or lost a cap, b.) who should be next up to be killed based on battle log, c.) who would chain my sets if i killed them, d.) who do i need to be friendly with and who do they dislike (as maybe a mutual enemy can be a good player to target out of the game), and e.) does the state of the board dictate that i should chill, i.e. everyone else is fighting eachother (so i can chill, stay strong, and clean up the aftermath of their wars when the battlelog dictates they are weak after wars/bad kills). Why not trade when you had set on three to clear out your bonus. You’re first in order so you get baby set anyways and you didn’t plan on skipping to get a bigger trade

Hey i feel like you probably record alot of footage that never gets uploaded. Would love to see a channel that is just your losses lol. Its great having your content rolling in the background but with only wins uploaded there can only be so much.

There sure is a lot of footage that doesn't make the cut! I may end up making a second channel for things like that and also more tournament games, we'll see! Unfortunately the feedback from posting losses in the past was much more negative haha. But if it's still a good game I may still post, you never know.
