I think the attack by black into Germany was him opening your cap, not him siding with white. Otherwise, he was just passive for most of the game.

Pathing mistake on turn 2. You did not need to leave a 3 the Spain corner. You could have attacked from Gascony into black, blue, white, then red. Or you could have attacked up from Granada into blue, black, white, then red.
