He probably has. You guys comment all day and don’t go outside. I’m not claiming he knows how to fight because he probably doesn’t, but this is a good tip. Straight right is probably the most important tool in a street fight bc the first clean punch usually decides the victor of that kind of fight. A longer guard is also better for the streets since there are no gloves so you can use your left for framing and parrying their haymakers and countering with a right

The punch you have to master is the Jab then the Cross. A good jab keeps your opponent distant and helps you find the right distance, even if it's less effective than a cross, it hurts if you land it properly on the chin. When you're good with a Jab you can end every fight with a 1-2 combination. You find him with the jab and knock him out with a cross. Anyway good advice. But guys, violence should be always the last resort.

Maybe he is a beginniner but surprisingly he did have very good form. I'm not the best fighter but I've trained for long enough to know when someone has actually been taught by someone who fights and a poser. He's definitely not a poser in terms of the technique he showed in this video. That being said, real fights are ugly and it's not always that simple as just relying on one punch. You always have to be ready for a brawl that's been my experience anyway.

i would recommend not using a closed fist but using a palm strike. in the chaos of a real fight it's very easy for someone to move their head closer in and catch your punch halfway in before full extension and hit your clenched fist at a bad angle and screw up your hand, especially if they just tilt their head down a bit. open hand strikes with the palm are a lot safer and still have a ton of power.
@EsutM

And the best counter to this is elbows. An up-elbow for example protects you from the right, as your shoulder is on the inside, and you're closong the distance to hit his face, that is already leaning / moving towards you.

As someone who does Muay Thai, this is Acc useful especially in sparring. I’m southpaw so it’s my left hand but the straight backhand really is useful. Take a look at guys like Conor McGregor his backhand cross is what won him most of his fights which shows u how useful such a simple move is. Fundamentals can take you so far

Make sure to keep your front foot’s pinky pointing of the inner ankle of your opponents front foot ( don’t stay flat footed). Also, Stay toe to toe while they strike and to counter move back slightly with an angle as they swing and sling your body back to where you just pass the opponent’s toes( pointing towards the middle of the body) while punching to land the punch accurately
