Good on you Paul. After years with a three gear bike (Pinky) and little time to ride it whilst working, I got a road bike with 24 gears in March. I thought Pinky was all I needed, but Bubbles proved otherwise. I can easily do distance now, and I’m four years into retirement, it’s wonderful. Oddly enough, today as I rode out I was thinking of Bubbles as my freedom machine. There you go. It’s never too late.

Yes, yes, Yes! Freedom! As a kid it meant around the block, now it has expanded to include towns, counties, and beyond. In the proper mindset I sometimes feel I could ride forever.🚴‍♂️👍
