Just another tiny little animation. Taking it small and slow for getting back into it every now and then, I don't want to bite off more than I can chew and burn myself out again like I've done time and time again in the past, so hahaha I hope you like it. a progress video will be out tomorrow, and I condensed it this time so it's a lot more shorter as well.

You have a higher chance of survival by falling into the lava, than falling and hitting the ground. The ground kills you instantly, but the lava burns you slowly, giving you time to swim out and extinguish yourself, before mining your way back up and blocking the hole. Alternatively, make sure to always carry a bucket of water and be quick to place it. That, or a boat.

Except it's still Minecraft. So all it'll really be is new building block styles and nothing more. For being voxel based and letting you dig all over the terrain, this is one of the most shallow games in the survival genre. Amazes me that it still has the following it does when it has some of the most bland survival elements when compared to games like Terraria, Rust, Ark: Survival Evolved, Conan Exiles, etc. If you set out to finish the game from a blank start, you can do so within just a couple of hours. Pretty lame.

@@du4lstrik3 The game isnt meant to be a complex survival game, its meant to be a relaxing sandbox game with survival elements. The creator Notch likened it to LEGO bricks, which themselves are a simple concept. The appeal of minecraft isnt that its a super complex survival game, but that its a survival game that grants the player freedom to play however they'd like.
@Buboltz
@Buboltz Жыл бұрын
@@du4lstrik3 I mean, Minecraft is a game about a lot of building creativity and being able to see what you are able to come up with when you have a wide variety of blocks and resources at your disposal to make something different and new, something you can show off to your friends and feel proud of. To build up a world of free-range the way you want to where nobody can tell you that you are doing it wrong as every players experience is their own, to be able to do things differently than others and to go down a path others may not had yet explored. Though, that isn't the only thing that there really is about the game, personally, I prefer playing on hardcore because it adds in an element that if you die, your progress will be gone forever and you may need to restart, to try and do things differently and to learn from past mistakes. But when I am not building houses, factories, the world around me the way I want to shape it, I am off doing something else as in Minecraft, there is always going to be something for you to do as it's a non-stop cycle. Maybe you could begin working on the biggest project anyone has ever seen, possibly build some of the strongest farms imaginable, maybe set goals for yourself whether it be collecting every mob in the game, achieving all twenty end gateways and making a hub, attempting to gain every achievement, draining out an ocean monument, claiming a Woodland Mansion as your own, dominating the Ancient City and restoring it back to its former glory, or fighting waves of raids as much as you so please to be the hero. If you are simply playing the game to "finish" it, then I personally just don't think you are playing it the way it was meant, in my opinion. Minecraft has a beginning, but not an end as I don't believe you can truly beat it, even after slaying the dragon, when there is always going to be something to do. Where your world is in a constant cycle of being built upon, where your base is never truly done as it always will be in a state of renovation as you think of new ideas, try out different things. Plus, it is continuing to be updated, and while some updates hadn't been the best or the worst, the game is still being worked on just like our worlds where new features will be released and the game will continue to be enjoyed and played by many.

Sometimes, this happens on occasion, when I hear something...and I am curious where it is...I dig down, making sure to watch out for lava, so I use my hearing for it...I heard a lot of noises below me, so I thought I was gonna get into a spawner, so I had my nice iron armor and my sword, and my wooden doors and torches and a pickaxe, then I dug down, and what I thought was just above the spawner, I dug one block below me, In slow motion, I saw the exposed spawner room next to me, but I was 3 blocks short, as I proceeded to fall down into two very high ravines, and then I landed very hard into a stalagmite, and then I died. While I was just....quiet and annoyed, and shocked where I died, and then to realize, Its gonna take ages to get back down there, not to mention, that stalagmite is on a tiny island in a lava pool...If I pour water down there...all my good iron stuff will get into the lava. This video was cute, but also reminds me of the pain of falling down into a ravine.
