UGH! God's response to the people of Israel in the face of their rejection moves me to tears. I want God to give me that level of compassion for others.

Oh my gosh thank you for talking about trying to figure out gods plan because that’s where we’re at right now. I am praying to know which direction my husband and I should go in the next few months. Retire and leave or stay put? Yet so many good things have happened I got a great job that I feel God led me to but yet my husband is still thinking of retiring and leaving. But he’s not sure either. I am feeling as if we should stay but my husband seems to be forcing this idea of retiring, selling everything and traveling. Problem is we have options like you said!! Haha. Either way I’m good with it. I am at peace no matter where I am. 🙏🏼

38:00 - Animal sacrifices did not take away sin, and therefore their was no forgiveness. Animal sacrifices "covered" sins. An example for the covering of sin can be seen in the bible when the spirit of death passed over the children of Israel when they were slaves in Egypt. God did punish mankind for sin. The consequence for sin is seperation from God. The premise more so was that the wrath of God still remained on mankind. Through Christ we were "redeemed" from sin. Jesus paid the atoning price for sin. And what is that atoning price? A sinless body had to be slain as a substitute for our sins. A eternal swap, if you will, for your sins. In technical terms, Jesus was our propitiation or appeasement for our sins. Hebrews 10:4 "It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins" Sometimes when we personalise the bible on our human level, the bible message in lost. Some concepts of the bible stands up only in the context of the bible and can't be reflected in human reasoning, or at times, human experience for it to be lost through personalisation. In other words, the bible reasons out itself, we don't reason out the bible.

10:40 - This is defined as the prayers of the flesh. We need to draw near to God through consecration through holiness for which we can move in the spirit and pray spirit lead prayers. These are the only prayers acceptable to God as sweet aroma. All other prayers smells to God. Period. Technically speaking.
