1 second a day filming the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance ~ by Deet's Puppeteer. (No talking)

Behind the scenes filming the Emmy award wining Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. My 1 second everyday BTS project ~ with no talking, so that you can enjoy it on loop without me interrupting you.

But this video is just my 1SE project with no fore or afterword.
I performed Deet, Naia and various other characters in the show ~ running around these stunning sets and being very deeply immersed in Thra. Whilst also line learning and physically exhausting myself and being bowled over with awe and gratitude.
Here is a glimpse into our world. A second of footage from everyday during the last 2 blocks of filming.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! The whole production looked like a once-in-a-lifetime labour of love and the series was pure joy from beginning to end. How it even came to exist in this media climate is nuts. Congratulations on all your amazing work.

"how it even came to exist in this climate is nuts" ~ never a truer statement and we were all so aware of it at the time as well. We would stand in awe within these massive sets with these creature style puppets and some big camera equipment "on loan from the 007 shoot" and think how on earth is this happening. I'm so grateful we got to do what we did 💜

This show brought back so many memories as a child watching the film. Particularly the puppet show within a puppet show. That part must have been extra difficult to pull off.

Can you do a video on how you came to be a puppeteer? And maybe talk a bit about how it all works with the green screens and blue screens?

I absolutely can make a video on how I came to be a puppeteer. Is there anything in particular you'd like to know? Also the ins and outs of green screen would be cool too. It would be much cooler to be able to film that kindof video at work but with the permissions and NDAs I'd probably have just do it as a talking head with some picture inserts haha
