I love this so much! 1) because you're coaching your parents, who are enthusiastic about learning what their daughter loves to do, and 2) because you're showing what it actually looks like to be a beginner, and how to progress. I imagine lots of people need this. Thank you!!

I love the sound effect with the 'video game xp' points. I'm going to imagine that when I climb.

I started climbing 6 weeks ago and sent my first V3 today! I’ve been practicing my drop knees and making a lot of progress on overhangs. Thanks for all your videos!

I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago and it was super sad as I couldn't climb. A cool thing is that top rope is doable once the ankle is close to heaaling and its also a good opportunity to work on other things like working out and mobility!

Oof, I’m sorry about your ankle. And yea, Ginger is hoping to get on the ropes as soon as the doctors clear her for it.

Nice instructional video! As an older climber, I think strength training is also important to mitigate injury risk.

Hey, I think I have the same shoes as you(mad rock rover) I would love to hear your opinion on it🙂
@SendEdition Жыл бұрын
I’m loving the Rovers. Madrock provided the shoes for everyone in the video (hence the presented by MadRock. - discount code is in the description). I’ve been wearing them for a couple of months now but I’ve been wearing Madrock shoes for years. The drone LVs are my go to shoes but I love training in the Rovers. The Rovers are comfortable, stiff, and supportive - exactly what I need in a pair of shoes that I put a lot of millage on. I like being able to wear the shoes for the entire session without feeling like my feet hate me. Plus the rubber is sticky and awesome. I did have to get used to the bigger toe box but I imagine that’s because they are a neutral shoe and I’m used to moderate shoes. Now that I’m used to it though… I’m not sure how my feet will respond to the drones when I put those on for hard overhanging routes…

I agree with the fact that the technique does take some weight off of the fingers. But on over hang fingers are still key at the end of the day
