I put one of the smallest berkely gillys on a buzz bait and they couldnt leave it alone.

Buzzbaits without skirts can be a awesome way to catch more fish. A lot of pro fisherman don’t use them now. Just a trailer. They do sell replacement skirts also but you might have to trim it down.
