Extremely helpful thanks for all 3 videos! I've got the E6 code on a PKA-A18GA and didn't really know how to troubleshoot. I have no LED lights on my board so I figured it would be a bad power board, or the main board bad. But now I know I have to check with DC volts and I'm just super glad you made this video. I can actually look like I know what I'm doing for this company I just started working for. LOL

E6 error continues blinking in the thermostat then I turn off the power and restore, the error has gone. This process is continuously going on 15 days diffrence. Actually what is the issue Plz advice, need to replace pcb or need some services

E6 fault reading on wall controller , no leds on at outdoor control board . Replace board and both outdoor fan motors . (

QUESTION... MY FRIEND HAS 2 AIR EXCHANGERS OFF ONE OUTDOOR UNIT. BOTH ARE READING ERROR CODE E6. WOULD THAT NARROW THE PROBLEM DOWN. WHAT DO YOU SUSPECT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE BEFORE I OPEN IT UP? THANKS

Hi, George! E6 is a communication error. It means that the Indoor and Outdoor units are not communicating - a licensed HVAC Contractor would need to work on this unit to determine why they are not communicating.
